00:22 So this is Alfie, he's three years old and we got him during Covid and that's when he started scheming about opening his own jazz club, which just opened last Tuesday.
00:34 And what can people expect when they go to Alfie's new place?
00:38 When they go to Alfie's new place, they can expect some of the best kind of jazz that London has to offer, with lots of different international artists who will pop up and different bands,
00:49 lots of jazz, swing, blues and maybe Alfie might make an appearance who knows.

01:01 Purring, he never purrs, just for the truth.
01:06 Given your experience with so many jazz musicians, what's Alfie like to work with?
01:11 So Alfie is, I would say, the most professional of all the musicians.
01:19 He is expecting a lot from everyone here, especially being fed obviously very often.
01:27 But he's very sensitive to music as well, he likes to climb on the piano and listen to everyone playing here.
01:36 And he's got a great taste in music, I would say.

01:46 It's all about Alfie's. We played the other night for the launch and it was wicked fun.
01:52 We brought the bus down the street with the New Orleans parade, that was great.
01:56 And then we marched everybody up into the venue and it was packed and I'm hoping that's going to continue.
02:02 Excellent. How was the room as a musician?
02:05 Yeah, it was wicked. We spent a lot of time in that room over the last few weeks putting it all together.
02:11 Yeah, seeing everybody in there and playing there, it's just great.
02:14 There's been a lot of time spent putting that place together. It's great.
