Students at Curtin University are reeling from what they say are on campus rent increases of up to $100 a week that are pushing them to the brink amid the cost-of-living crisis. But the university, the biggest in WA, points out most accommodation has gone up by much less and the increases are mainly due to the end of generous COVID-19 subsidies.
