Alors qu'il avait pris l'habitude de reprendre la compétition courant février, Tadej Pogacar a cette fois-ci fait l'impasse sur ces épreuves. En effet, avec ses ambitions de doublé Giro d'Italia - Tour de France, le Slovène a changé ses plans et a un programme de course bien plus réduit en ce début de saison. Avant de se diriger vers Milan - Sanremo (16 mars) et le Tour de Catalogne (18 au 24 mars), le coureur de la formation UAE Team Emirates va faire sa reprise ce samedi à l'occasion des Strade Bianche. Une épreuve qui lui a déjà souri par le passé, puisqu'il l'a remporté en 2022, à l'issue d'un numéro en solitaire, et dont il est le grand favori cette année.
