00:03 But a future outlook for the Bruins.
00:05 Now we know teams go through their ebbs and flows.
00:07 You take a look here at the Stanley Cup price at a 10 to 1 number,
00:09 the Eastern Conference at a plus 470.
00:12 Are we worried about the Boston Bruins moving forward?
00:15 And also, what are their prospects here for maybe lifting the Stanley Cup?
00:18 >> I think they have, nobody's really talking about them,
00:22 despite all the success in the East.
00:24 I hear all the talk being about Florida.
00:26 I personally picked Carolina at the start of the season.
00:29 They're starting to get healthy little by little, so they have great outlook.
00:33 And of course, the Rangers are, what, 11 of 12?
00:36 So they've been the talk of the town and the whole league,
00:38 really, after that incredible stadium series comeback.
00:41 But Boston is the team that maybe has the most unfinished business, right,
00:46 after getting bounced in the first round last year.
00:48 One thing they could always fall back on, which is a great thing for
00:51 the postseason, they have hands down the best goalie tandem in the league,
00:55 with Jeremy Swayman and Linus Allmark.
00:58 They also have guys that continue to step up to the plate in expanded roles and
01:02 deliver, like Charlie Coyle.
01:04 That guy has kept his breakout season going,
01:06 despite those couple of retirements I mentioned in the preseason that were
01:11 ill-timed, and everybody they lost, Bertuzzi, Taylor Hall,
01:14 Dmitry Orlov in free agency.
01:16 So I would say that Boston is a legitimate Stanley Cup contender,
01:20 with that extra motivation that you always look for.
01:24 The playoff failure of the previous year, and
01:26 maybe bouncing back here when everybody least expects it.
01:30 Look for Boston also to try to solidify their roster, if possible,
01:34 within the salary cap before the trade deadline on March 8th.
