A cinematic feast: Budapest hosts Francophone Film Days festival

14th Francophone Film Days in Budapest feature Oscar & Cesar nominees, celebrating French cinema until Mar 10, expanding to 16 cities

00:07 edition of the Francophone Film Days in Budapest. People will be able to meet the directors
00:13 and actors of several of the films in the Hungarian capital.
00:20 The French language is something that so many people across the world have in common. It`s
00:26 a language that is spoken on the five continents, which is the case only of English, you know,
00:31 and which is spoken in areas with the greatest demographic growth. So, it`s really a language
00:37 with a proud history, language for today and language for tomorrow. And so, we will have
00:42 now the cinematographic celebration of Francophonie.
00:48 The Francophone Film Days will run until March 10 in Budapest. But a selection of the program
00:53 will be screened in 16 cities in the countryside over the coming weeks.
