00:00 So, what do I remember from summer?
00:19 Well, there was this one year where we went to Australia for a few weeks, right?
00:24 And we flew there.
00:26 My parents had rented this camper van which we would drive across the East Coast.
00:33 There was a lot of driving.
00:34 We would just be driving for hours and hours and hours.
00:37 And I'd be sitting in the back with my brother and he'd usually be playing some video game.
00:44 I'd have my headphones on.
00:46 And that was nice.
00:48 I mean, I just, I really liked long hard trips where you could just sit back and watch stuff go by.
00:54 I remember we went to this big city.
00:57 I think it was the Gold Coast.
00:59 There was really nice beaches there to walk on.
01:03 And you went into the center, you'd see tall buildings everywhere.
01:06 There'd be lots of nice restaurants.
01:08 I liked the parts where we would stop by the highway at night when we were going somewhere new.
01:15 When you turned off the lights, you could be in like this black void where you couldn't even see your own hands.
01:20 You'd still have the highway in the distance being all nice and bright.
01:24 So that was kind of weird.
01:26 I remember we went trekking through some woods and we had to jump across a stream on some rocks.
01:33 Which was very scary because it was very easy to fall in.
01:36 We'd also stop a lot by camper van parks.
01:39 And there'd be a bunch of other vehicles to park around us.
01:42 And it'd all be like a little town of camper vans.
01:46 And then me and my brother would go exploring in the nearby area.
01:50 I remember there was actually this one place that had dolphins that would willingly show up and get real close.
01:58 You could just see them.
01:59 And they'd do it all on their own.
02:00 It was pretty crazy.
02:01 And then the next day we'd just be going somewhere else.
02:04 It was just like, "Whoa, here we are now and we're experiencing this.
02:09 And now we're on to the next place."
02:11 Now I often sit and wonder, "Why do I remember all these little specificities?"
02:17 And I don't know, dude.
02:19 I think maybe my mind just decided that, "Oh, yeah, these little things, we're going to remember that."
02:24 Because it was important.
02:26 And even if it's not important, it must have been important or it must have meant something if you remembered it.
02:32 Make sure to remember the new stuff, you know?
