PNP, hihigpitan ang pag-iinspeksyon sa mga tindahan ng police uniform

00:09 This is after six suspects were caught in Coronadal City, South Cotabato,

00:15 a phone shop where these people were wearing police athletic uniforms

00:20 and claimed to have filed an arrest warrant against one of the employees of the store.

00:26 According to PNP Chief General Benjamin Acorda Jr.,

00:30 the suspects wearing police uniforms will be charged with usurpation of authority

00:37 and illegal use of uniform and insignia under Article 177 and 179 of the Revised Penal Code.

00:45 Meanwhile, Acorda said they have a lead on the thieves behind the theft.

00:51 Last week, the government of Coronadal City issued a half-million-peso cash reward

00:59 to anyone who can provide information to the authorities to arrest the suspects.
