Sadiq Khan: Government 'complicit' in racism

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, has said that the failure of Rishi Sunak and his cabinet ministers to condemn Lee Anderson's remarks make them "complicit in this sort of racism." He said that Mr Anderson's comments "pour fuel on the fire of anti-Muslim hatred." Lee Anderson lost the Conservative whip over the weekend after failing to apologise for claiming “Islamists” had “got control” of Sadiq Khan and London. Report by Covellm.
