00:07 memorial. My father flew B-17s during World War II. He was, he never saw any
00:16 action but he flew around America training other pilots. So it's a
00:23 privilege to be here to honor those pilots that died 80 years ago.

00:55 The Mi Amigo War Memorial in Encliff Park has benefited from a £21,000
01:03 fundraiser which has paid for new steps, signboards, metal railings and a general
01:11 spruce up of the area in time for its 80th anniversary in February, anniversary
01:19 service in February. Members of the Royal Air Forces Association in
01:24 Sheffield say they're very pleased and proud to have achieved their fundraising
01:29 target which will pay for jet washing of the original stone here installed in
01:34 1969 and maintenance for the next five years.
