Daily housework can be a real grind, but lately I have found a hack that makes doing dishes and hanging laundry a lot easier and more enriching.

00:03 a big chunk of my time is spent

00:08 I mean, crushed up cereal, sweeping the floor,

00:12 My point is, is there's a lot of housework to be done.
00:14 Something I've seen a lot of my friends doing

00:17 kind of like a hack to make it mentally easier
00:20 to get through these tasks.
00:21 There are these images and statues
00:23 of the Blessed Virgin Mary doing housework.
00:25 And people put these images and statues
00:28 on the windowsill in the kitchen.
00:30 I've seen them on their dressers,
00:32 just around the house, wherever.
00:33 Honestly, sometimes folding laundry and doing dishes
00:37 is the last thing I wanna do.
00:39 So being able to look at this depiction of Mary
00:41 doing the same thing
00:42 is sometimes just the perfect motivation that I need.
