The crime index in Selangor shows an increase of 758 cases or 5.84% last year compared to the previous year, said Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan in a press conference on Friday. A total of 13,740 cases were recorded in 2023, compared to 12,982 in 2022.
