Some Young people say they are leaving Leeds due to 'poor' public transport connections - West Yorkshire think-tank Same Skies found that eighty percent of respondents gave this reason. In response Mayor of West Yorkshire, Tracy Brabin, said: "I’m on a mission to build a better-connected region with a modern, integrated transport network that works for everyone”.

A new pizzeria is set to take over former Pizza Loco restaurant in Leeds, the site closed last month. Ottimo Pizza is being opened by Long-term friends Paul Bolster and Nick Julian. Both have long experience in running similar enterprises. The pair say their pizza concept is focused on quality ingredients, balanced flavours and a tried and tested dough process.

Expect some wintery conditions over the next few days. Temperatures should return to normal after an unseasonably mild spell - and we may even see some snow in places, particularly on higher ground.
