The Crime Investigation Department (CID) of the Assam Police have issued summons to Rahul Gandhi and 10 other Congress leaders, reported IANS. The summons has been issued for causing damage to public property during the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Assam. They have been asked to appear before the CID officers on February 23 in Guwahati, reported IANS. An official told IANS that summons was issued on February 19 under section 41 A (3) of Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC). Watch the video to know more.
