00:00 I guess I didn't pay too much attention to it at all.
00:03 So when it got revealed on that final dinner episode, it came up really
00:07 organically. There wasn't this big reveal or anything, which I love
00:11 because I feel the thing that the traitors do really well is they
00:14 don't make your sexuality a tokenistic thing. It's very
00:17 like, 'this is who I am and this is who I'm with'. And it was like
00:21 that with so many members of the cast that were
00:23 queer or queer-identified.
00:26 So when it came out and then I seen the reaction on Twitter, I thought
00:31 oops, because everybody had kind of
00:35 just erupted with this, 'why didn't you tell us sooner?' and I just
00:38 didn't think it was part of anything that I should have
00:40 really announced. I had talked a lot in
00:43 the season about it, but it just didn't come up on the TV until the
00:47 final episode. But yeah, I loved the reaction.
00:50 Everybody was doing great and I had come under some flack for being
00:53 quiet or clueless throughout the season. And then to see
00:56 that changing of the tide where people actually
00:58 rated me and thought I was great, I actually prefer that. That's great.
01:02 That made me feel better. Yeah, it's pretty
01:05 representative of my normal life as well. It's not really a
01:08 massive part of my identity. I was very privileged to be in
01:11 a position where I didn't have to really come out or anything to any of
01:14 my friends and family. It was just like, 'this is who I'm with and this is who
01:17 I'm happy with'. I'm very privileged that
01:20 I've never had to really struggle with anything.
01:23 It was probably, like I said, quite representative of my actual life
01:27 when it was just who I'm with and that's it. But
01:29 maybe it would have been nice to come out a bit sooner so that people
01:33 could rally around me a bit more.
01:34 Yeah, that would have been nice actually, maybe episode seven where
01:40 people still didn't know who I was.
