Drake always has had a reputation of being a giving person. While he raps about luxury and wealth, he also gives back. With his "God's Plan" music video, he had a $1 million budget. He used this budget to give the money away and filmed it. All of the money was made back through the revenue the video generated. In Pittsburgh, Drake learned of a fan who survived cancer. In part, this fan credited Drake's music getting them through it. As a result, he gave the fan $50,000 and told them to spend it on whatever they want.
