Pia Wurtzbach reveals what she would have been doing had she not become what she is right now.
We all know the story of how from being a teen model, she entered showbiz and afterwards ventured into beauty pageants, tried three times to get the crown, and succeeded only on her third try.
We all celebrated when she brought home the Miss Universe crown, which cemented her right to be called a queen.
Nine years later, after that controversial but exhilarating night in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, Pia still is regarded as a queen, regally displaying her presence on social media, print, and broadcast media.
With the majestic rooms and amenities of Nüwa Manila in City of Dreams as her backdrop, Pia poses for PEP.ph and takes on our Q&As where she also reveals the item that she always carries but has the least use for her, the historical figure she wants to have dinner with, and what should be included among the prizes of a Miss Universe winner.

00:26 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:27 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:29 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:31 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:33, exact model.
00:37 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
00:39 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
01:02 [MUSIC PLAYING]
01:06 [MUSIC PLAYING]
01:09 [MUSIC PLAYING]
01:12 [MUSIC PLAYING]
01:16 [MUSIC PLAYING]
01:19 [MUSIC PLAYING]
01:22 Recently, I watched the documentary
01:25 on Audrey Hepburn's life.
01:27 And that's the first time I really learned about her life
01:30 and the family struggles, and then
01:33 that she lived during World War II.
01:37 And she left showbiz at the peak of her career
01:42 to focus on her family.
01:44 And then she went through two breakups,
01:48 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
01:50 And then [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
01:51 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
02:06 But I was also really inspired by it.
02:08 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
02:12 But she let go of everything because her family,
02:16 her kids are more important.
02:18 Respect for that.
02:20 That's not easy to do.
02:22 Most of us would probably just go for our careers,
02:27 or try to do both.
02:28 But [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] so.
02:34 [MUSIC PLAYING]
02:37 [MUSIC PLAYING]
02:49 I would probably still try to be who I am.
02:52 I mean, [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
03:02 Although I'm a nervous flyer, I love discovering new places
03:08 and traveling.
03:10 It's just the flying part that I find a little uncomfortable.
03:13 But I would be an F, a flight attendant, I think.
03:17 And then from there, [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
03:22 [LAUGHTER]
03:24 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
03:28 [MUSIC PLAYING]
03:32 [MUSIC PLAYING]
03:47 Number one, I think, [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
03:50 therapy sessions to all the winners.
03:53 I don't know if they still do it now, but during my year,
03:56 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
03:57 I hope that they continue on doing that,
03:59 especially with the boom of the digital world
04:01 now and social media.
04:03 And [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] overnight,
04:05 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
04:06 So having professional help, [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
04:12 you still need somebody to guide you
04:13 through the changes in your life.
04:15 Because now, you're a celebrity.
04:18 You will go back home, and people recognize you.
04:20 And it's a big change.
04:22 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
04:25 But just to equip yourself.
04:27 And also, [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
04:32 Because not a lot of people talk about this,
04:34 but [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH] feeling of being lost.
04:37 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
04:41 So the preparation for the next step of your life is important.
04:46 And I think we need to guide more girls with that.
04:50 And not just in Miss Universe, but even in Binibini
04:53 or Miss Universe Philippines.
04:55 I think the post-crown career and mental health
04:59 should be a priority.
05:01 One more is that I hope--
05:03 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
05:05 A part of it will go to your manager.
05:08 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
05:09 A part of it will go to taxes.
05:11 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
05:12 We can also include a small percentage that
05:15 will go towards your costs.
05:17 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
05:18 At the end of your reign, you can say,
05:20 I've accumulated so-and-so $1,000.
05:23 And my chosen charity is, for example, Love Yourself.
05:27 And I am pledging $100,000 towards Love Yourself.
05:31 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
05:33 From my shoots, my commercials, my appearances
05:37 during my whole reign as Miss Universe.
05:39 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
05:40 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
05:41 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
05:42 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
05:44 [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
05:46 So I think [NON-ENGLISH SPEECH]
05:49 [MUSIC PLAYING]
05:52 [MUSIC PLAYING]
05:56 [MUSIC PLAYING]
05:59 [MUSIC PLAYING]
06:03 [MUSIC PLAYING]
06:07 [MUSIC PLAYING]
