00:21 Rawad, what more do we know?
00:24 As we know for a fact is that earlier this morning, as you mentioned, Hezbollah launched
00:30 an attack on northern Israel.
00:32 They attacked specifically the community of Safad, where the command of the northern command
00:40 is located.
00:41 This was seen as somewhat as a deeper strike for Hezbollah compared to the regular tit-for-tat
00:50 that have been happening over the past four months.
00:54 Shortly afterwards, a couple of hours later, we saw that Israel launched a number or a
00:59 series of air strikes deep into southern Lebanon simultaneously.
01:04 Also these air strikes by the Israeli Air Force were deep into southern Lebanon, even
01:09 north of what is known as the Litani River or the zone which is subject to the UN peacekeeping
01:17 force troops.
01:19 So in an area that is very distant from the border, from the usual locations that we're
01:25 seeing the confrontations between Israel and Hezbollah over the past four months, different
01:31 places were targeted, up in the mountains, down near the city of Tahrir, and as well
01:40 near the city of Nabothieh.
01:41 So we saw a deeper strike by Hezbollah earlier this morning, followed by a series of deep
01:48 strikes into southern Lebanon for the first time by the Israeli Air Force.
01:53 Rawad, since October 7th, you've been reporting for us regularly on, we've seen these spikes
01:58 in tensions.
02:01 How intense is this one, would you rate it?
02:05 This could be possibly the most significant day since October 8th in terms of Israeli
02:11 retaliation.
02:12 And as I mentioned, the distance, the airstrikes that the Israelis have conducted into southern
02:18 Lebanon today were in areas that have been targeted for the first time during the day,
02:27 areas that are not as remote as the areas that were targeted before, areas that had
02:32 not been evacuated by the Lebanese civilian population, unlike the border area.
02:38 And as you mentioned, we have at least four confirmed civilian casualties until this moment
02:45 in the last round of airstrikes, given the fact that they were targeting areas that had
02:51 not been evacuated.
