00:02 It's an absolutely superb day for Lapa Valley
00:10 because for 50 years, Lapa Valley has been a great,
00:14 wonderful tourist attraction.
00:15 And over the last 10 years, Sarah and myself,
00:18 we've invested a lot of money.
00:20 You name it, we've done it.
00:21 But the one thing that we now need
00:24 to expand our business again is that ability
00:27 to be able to get people up and down from our car park.
00:30 We've got great steam trains,
00:32 but as we get busier and busier,
00:34 we need something else just in case we get a busy day,
00:38 we can jump into our new, wonderful locomotive,
00:42 press a button, and off it will go.

00:50 So ladies and gentlemen,
00:53 it's my huge pleasure to welcome City of Truro
00:57 to Lapa Valley.

01:04 It was so great to meet Edward, Henry,
01:10 and Poppia earlier today.
01:12 They were so good, the way they waved the flag
01:15 and the train came towards them, and great.
01:18 What a superb name in City of Truro.
01:21 The absolute right name to really epitomize
01:26 what Lapa is about, the city of our great county, Cornwall.
01:29 I'm absolutely over the moon about the name that they chose.
01:33 Well, I spent most of the afternoon
01:37 actually fighting back the tears of all the compliments
01:39 and all the lovely stories that I hear,
01:41 and I am a big softie at heart,
01:43 and oh my goodness, the things I've heard
01:46 and the praise I get, and I'm not good at the praise.
01:49 To all of you that came today, thank you so much.
01:51 I really hope you had a lovely day.
01:53 I've had a fantastic day, and I really must probably now
01:56 to go home for a little rest,
01:58 and it'll all start again tomorrow.
02:00 Bring it on.
