00:02 The situation on the river Bary is stable.
00:06 This week, the firefighters carried out monitoring of the river Bary
00:10 due to the increased amount of water in the river.
00:14 Monitoring was carried out on the waterfront in three places -
00:18 in Rubliniec, Milicz and Łąka.
00:20 The alarm level was exceeded on the waterfront in Łąka
00:24 and was 320 cm, it was exceeded by 10 cm.
00:29 Due to the recent intense floods that were passing over the town of Milicz,
00:35 firefighters were available for events related to flooded ponds,
00:40 flooded basements and flooded basements.
00:43 The firefighters' actions carried out in Krośnice
00:47 consisted of pumping water from flooded basements and ponds.
00:51 Firefighters also carried out large actions in the town of Brzostowo,
00:55 where flooding of ponds, basements and provincial roads occurred
01:01 due to the accumulation of large amounts of water.
01:06 Our actions there were also focused on pumping water from flooded ponds and basements,
01:11 as well as on putting bags of sand in order to make shafts
01:16 and secure the ponds from flooding.
01:18 What are the forecasts for the near future?
01:21 For the near future, the forecasts are optimistic.
01:25 There are not going to be as many floods as there have been in recent times,
01:29 so the situation on the river will also stabilize,
01:32 because the water will start to fall every day.
01:35 The Milicz Ponds Regiment continues to take action
01:38 to help the local community
01:41 manage the water level in the Baric River and its inflows.
01:45 We are taking concrete steps to regulate the water level.
01:51 We are currently carrying out actions to intercept water from the Yazuniezgoda
01:56 to the Radziąc complex, to the Jamnik pond,
01:59 to the Jelenie pond and Stary pond.
02:03 We are also constantly monitoring all hydrotechnical devices
02:09 to prevent any flood.
02:13 We are also working on the Miglocka River flood dam
02:18 and on the remaining mobile pumps.
02:22 We are carrying out all these actions in cooperation
02:25 with the state-owned Polish Water Company in Wrocław.
02:31 What is the area of the ponds that are now taking in the water
02:37 that flows through the Baric River?
02:39 It is several hundred hectares.
02:43 As I said, it is the entire Radziąc complex,
02:46 so we have the largest pond in the Baric Valley, Stary pond,
02:50 but also the entire Jamnik complex and smaller ponds
02:54 here in Żmigrod and the area.
