00:00 I'm sorry, no more questions.
00:04 Except you're going to say no more questions after one question.
00:07 Jürgen, you had to fight hard for that one, to be honest, didn't you?
00:16 No problem with fighting hard for a result, actually I can't remember the last time I did it.
00:22 I don't remember the last time I did it, I don't remember the last time I did it.
00:26 No problem with fighting hard for a result, actually I can't remember the last time
00:30 when that wasn't the case.
00:32 But today, obviously for some obvious and some less obvious reasons,
00:37 it was clearly going to be a really tricky afternoon.
00:41 It was about how we deal with it, how much character we can show,
00:43 and the boys showed exactly what we needed.
00:46 At the start of the game we were a bit too much in a rush,
00:51 it was a problem, we played too quick, too direct,
00:56 couldn't react with the formation, couldn't win balls back,
00:59 they had counter-attacks and that looks not great and doesn't feel great on top of that.
01:06 We scored our goal, won the full, found a way in the game,
01:09 and then we conceded in the last second before half-time,
01:12 but a 1-1 is not a problem, it was like...
01:16 I want us to play better football and play calmer football,
01:22 always when we did that.
01:23 Thankfully we had two good situations to show them,
01:26 one with a kind of a diagonal ball, which we saw from Virg,
01:31 to Trent when the winger went inside,
01:34 and they are playing around, having the right players in the right positions.
01:38 And we did that.
01:41 And then there was obviously the problem in half-time that we had to take Trent off.
01:46 That's a double problem if you want, one is Trent off
01:50 and the other one is we don't have a right-back available,
01:53 so we told Curtis what he had to do, change the formation slightly,
01:58 that we make it as simple as possible for him,
02:00 because the first time we played the position
02:02 we don't want him to be the inverted right-back
02:06 and think about these kind of things as well.
02:08 So, he did exceptionally well.
02:12 Arvey came on, did really well, all the other boys did really well,
02:15 we scored this wonderful 2-1 in the right moment,
02:18 helped obviously to give the game the right direction.
02:21 They still had their moments, because of the quality they have.
02:25 I think it's a pretty strange situation Burnley is in,
02:29 they play much better, they cause everybody problems,
02:32 it's not just us, they cause everybody problems.
02:35 And that's quite special with the amount of points they have,
02:40 that they always come in the next game with such a positive mentality,
02:45 I really admire that a lot.
02:47 Then we scored the third one and we could have scored more,
02:51 and after goals in other moments, so it's all good.
02:53 It was a really good game, really good results, besides the Trent situation.
02:56 Perfect. We lost this morning, Ali, I don't know, we lost Joey with the flu,
03:04 Ali we will see, and before the game Ryan felt a little bit...
03:08 They told me then he's fine, but you cannot bring a player who felt something
03:13 in the warming-up, so we have to recover quickly,
03:17 and hopefully a lot of the boys will be back for the next game,
03:21 because we need them obviously.
03:23 What is the situation with Trent? Is it near again?
03:26 Yeah, I felt there. He's stuck in the grass, we will see.
03:30 We have to further assess.
03:34 Jürgen, I think that was Andy Robertson's first start at Bournemouth,
03:39 you did a pretty good job without him, making up his absence,
03:43 but he's coming back at a good time,
03:45 it looked like he was getting back to his old self,
03:47 it's a big addition to you at this stage, isn't it?
03:50 Yeah, it is, absolutely, all of them.
03:55 But Robben, especially as we worked together, he was never that long out,
03:59 so for him it was very strange.
04:01 Yeah, super important, play the top game.
04:05 Play the top game, and now the situation is not only that he's coming back,
04:09 but when he came back we had these kind of different sessions,
04:13 because we play all the time, you don't have the real sessions
04:18 where you can feel the game again.
04:19 It's small-sided games, all the other guys recover,
04:23 the few who didn't play or come back from injury do different stuff,
04:27 so he needed the last week, three sessions, big pitch, 11-11,
04:33 whatever we did, to feel the situation again.
04:36 And besides that, we had to force him a little bit,
04:39 just ignore the fact that he can't have rhythm,
04:41 and bring himself in kind of a rhythm, and that's what he did.
04:44 Jordan?
04:46 Can you tell us, do you accept the yellow card for the opening of the season?
04:50 For what it was? If I accept it? Is there any chance not to accept it?
04:56 LAUGHTER
04:57 I said he was correct, sorry.
04:59 Yeah...I'm not sure, did anybody see the situation?
05:04 When Diogo got wrestled down, is that a possible penalty?
05:10 Is it or not? I want to know, from my position.
05:13 Yeah, that's what I saw, and that's in the box, and for me that's a penalty.
05:17 We had exactly the same view, and then the fourth official tells me,
05:22 "Yeah, we are checks it."
05:23 We had no chance in that moment, because it's not clear and obvious,
05:26 but it was something he saw, obviously, but it was not enough for a penalty.
05:31 And that clicked slightly in my head, and then I was a bit...
05:35 But imagine this game today, just because we are on the week of the blue card,
05:39 imagine this game with the blue card.
05:41 That would have been Wild West, honestly.
05:43 The cards would have flown, for a moment it would have been seven players on the pitch,
05:48 because everybody has a sin bin with a blue card.
05:51 Any last one?
05:52 Oh, sorry.
05:54 How good was it to finally have Jocko Roden?
05:59 Outstanding, oh, my God.
06:01 Before I really heard it, I saw it already, it looks exceptional,
06:05 it looks absolutely exceptional, this stadium grew and grew.
06:09 It was always wonderful, but now it's really outrageously wonderful.
06:13 Really top, really top.
06:16 Really loud in the right moments.
06:21 I know it's a game, there were tricky moments,
06:24 and then it's difficult to be on your toes.
06:27 I had my moment with the main stand.
06:31 But it's all good, and I'm really happy that we have them now,
06:39 finally back, it gives a lot of people the opportunity
06:43 to see this wonderful team playing football.
06:45 Thank you.
