00:00 My name is Nadia and I am the co-author of the cookery book The Road from Karachi with my mother Khalida and
00:07 this is all about a story of love between
00:10 myself and my parents and their journey and their dream to start their own cookery school in Portsmouth and
00:17 the event which I'm going to be running on the 23rd of February in the Queen's Hotel is all about the celebration of
00:25 The Road from Karachi as well as
00:28 raising for clean water pumps in India,
00:30 Sri Lanka and Pakistan.
00:33 Now the event has an aim so I've actually got the aim of a hundred water pumps to meet and I've met
00:40 55 so far through selling the cookery book events and
00:45 going out and doing stores and some more cooking sessions around Portsmouth.
00:50 So the event is all about helping to reach that target of a hundred and hoping to get
00:57 ten out of the event or more if we can and I would love you if you could join us at the event at
01:02 the Queen's Hotel in Portsmouth between 7 and 10 p.m. on the 23rd of February.
01:09 Now the event will have
01:11 dancers, will have live music, will have speakers, will have a henna table and there'll be many other things there to
01:19 entertain you and for you to enjoy an evening of the curries cooked by the Queen's Hotel
01:25 from the book as well as raising for water pumps and pretty much just enjoying a wonderful evening
01:31 celebrating with us The Road from Karachi and
01:34 for you to have a wonderful time in the evening.
01:38 We hope to see you there and I hope that you can join us on this beautiful journey of getting these water pumps and
01:45 selling the books and
01:47 having a good experience in the evening.
