00:00 I'm an extrovert, so I like to get everybody together, have a big party, a lot of food,
00:04 and kind of be able to talk about the game with a whole crowd of people. What are they going to do
00:09 here? Are they going to punt? Are they going to go fourth on fourth down? But I've run the gamut.
00:14 Some years it's a quiet deal with just me and my wife, and some years it's a whole party,
00:18 Super Bowl party. And my in-laws do a party where they get together with their friends
00:22 who are going back 30 years, and they eat food that represents the two cities that are playing
00:29 in the Super Bowl. So for a lot of years when the Patriots were playing, they had a lot of clam
00:33 chowder while they watched the Super Bowl. But I thought that was a cool tradition that someday
00:39 I'll probably have to start with our family too. Well, when we were teammates together with the
00:43 Patriots, our favorite tradition was to go to the Super Bowl and play. And we made that a
00:48 tradition all right. There's no doubt about that. We went to what, five Super Bowls together,
00:53 Julian? Yeah, we didn't win them all. Well, let me tell you, we won majority of them. If three
00:59 out of five, that equals 60%. That's not a mess you have to clean up right there, Julian, because
01:04 that math is accurate. But the other traditions I love to have now is getting together with my
01:10 friends and people that are close to me, like my family, and just watching the game. I'll be
01:15 taking off right before the game starts. I'll get home probably right before halftime. And then boom,
01:21 I have a couple friends waiting for me. I love dips. There's no doubt about it, especially my
01:26 mom's Buffalo chicken wing dip. Whenever I have a chance to have that at my Super Bowl parties,
01:31 hands down, that will be there. And that's always the number one favorite. Yeah, I think the
01:35 tradition has always been, you know, Super Bowl Sunday was like a holiday when I was a kid. You
01:40 know, you go home and your mom has a party or we go to someone's Super Bowl party. There's a seven
01:50 layer bean dip. There's the French onion dip. There's the, you know, the spinach dip. There's
01:57 dips galore. And a big roll of bounty paper towel right next to you because you can't have these
02:04 types of messes, you know, when you're watching the Super Bowl. But I would say getting together
02:09 with like people you love, people that you care about, because you want to watch the game. You
02:16 get you get around people you don't really know. Everyone wants to ask you questions about the game.
02:20 You're trying to watch the game. You got to be around people you love and you know, so you can
02:25 enjoy the game. I love stuff that you can eat on the go, obviously walking around the party. Tacos
02:30 are always phenomenal. Wings. Got to have some good beer around. You got to have some good drinks
02:35 and opportunities. So I'm it's I mean, there's nothing better than a good than a good football
02:41 party. I normally watch the game alone. I don't like a whole lot of distractions. I don't watch.
02:47 I don't watch sporting events with sound because I'm normally going to have to critique the game.
02:52 And so I don't want to what someone says to influence what I'm going to say. So I don't
02:56 watch. I don't watch sporting events with sound unless it's track and field. And we don't really
03:01 talk track and field. And so so normally I'm alone and I'm just, you know, I'm trying to,
03:05 you know, go through my head. OK, why did this play happen? Why was it successful? Who missed
03:10 this block? Who missed this tackle? What did the receiver do? What did and so that's I'm analyzing
03:15 the game within the game. And but, you know, traditional foods, you know, probably order out
03:22 and probably get barbecue or something like that, maybe some chips, but nothing different than
03:28 probably any other game if I was watching it. But normally I'm not at big parties,
03:34 Super Bowl watch parties, things like that. Like you said, occasionally I have been to the Super
03:39 Bowl, but it's kind of hard because like I want to kind of like watch the game, but I'm watching
03:44 the game and I'm trying to analyze at the same time. And people like what you think? Should that
03:49 have been a penalty? Oh, you thought that was a holding call? Was that a good play? And so it's
03:53 like I just give up. So now I'm like explain trying to explain to people what's actually
03:58 going on. So but normally when I'm home, I'm watching the game by myself in a room by myself.
04:06 So I usually go for the week to Super Bowl and do work. You know, there's some, you know,
04:11 media obligations that I have some corporate stuff that I do have fun. I have some family out there
04:19 that'll be there. So I'll get a chance to see them. And then typically over the years, I try to come
04:27 home either Saturday night late or early Sunday morning so I can watch it on my couch and hang out.
04:33 But I think this year I'm probably gonna stay out there and probably go to the game.
