00:04 - It is a breezy and cloudy day
00:07 and that cloud cover is going to persist
00:10 throughout the rest of the week across much of the US.
00:14 We will also be seeing above normal precipitation
00:16 across the country, especially in the Southeastern US,
00:20 extending up into the Great Lakes.
00:22 There will be a rain system by the end of the week
00:24 that will be moving eastward through the weekend.
00:27 Onto the West Coast, there will be some relief
00:30 from that constant rainfall due to those atmospheric rivers
00:34 by the end of the week.
00:35 That is a much needed break for that region.
00:39 Meanwhile, in the Southwestern US,
00:42 we're talking about Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Colorado,
00:45 there will be additional snowfall accumulation,
00:48 especially in those higher elevation areas
00:51 at the end of this week.
00:53 You will also be seeing below normal temperatures.
00:56 However, everywhere else east of the Rockies,
00:59 we will be seeing those temperatures be above normal
01:02 by the end of the week.
