Jamie Carragher FUMES at Martin Odegaard's Celebrations as Arsenal Captain Borrows Camera

Martin Odegaard's fun taking pictures at the end of Arsenal's 3-1 win over Liverpool at the Emirates sparked the ire of Jamie Carragher - and started a social media whirlwind.

Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, and Leandro Trossard all got on the scoresheet for the Gunners as they closed the gap on Liverpool and Man City at the top of the Premier League table.

Arsenal captain Odegaard proceeded to have some fun with the club photographer at the end of the game, taking pictures of him celebrating after the final whistle, but it did not impress Carragher, who was working as a pundit for Sky Sports.

As the footage was shown, former Arsenal player Gael Clichy revealed 'I remember being taken pictures, but not taking pictures. It's a good night.'

Carragher jumped in, fuming: 'Just get down the tunnel. You've won a game, three points, you've been brilliant. Back in the title race, get down the tunnel. I'm serious, honestly.'

Later on Sunday evening, the ex-Liverpool ace posted the video of the incident on his X (formerly Twitter) page, with the caption: 'By all means enjoy it, but enjoy it by being disciplined!'

Piers Morgan also shared the video with a laughing with-tears emoji, writing: 'Calm down, calm down, @Carra23 - we battered you, and we’re going to enjoy every second.'

Carragher replied in jest: 'I nearly walked out the studio!'

Morgan responded with a quartet of laughing crying emojis, adding: 'Your pain only adds to the joy.'

The former Liverpool defender then posted the phrase '#NewProfilePic', and changed it to the picture of Odegaard holding the camera after the 3-1 win.

Saka put the hosts in front within the opening 15 minutes at the Emirates, but Liverpool was fortunate to equalize before half-time courtesy of a Gabriel own goal.

A communication error in Liverpool's defense allowed Gabriel Martinelli to get Arsenal back in front in the 67th minute before Trossard sealed the victory in stoppage time with a smart finish.

Arsenal return to action in Sunday's trip to West Ham, whilst Liverpool host Burnley the previous afternoon.
