00:40 You know, it is this moment. Like, I felt this in the room last night
00:44 'cause some rooms in the music industry, it's like everyone wants to be the new, young, fresh thing.
00:50 Last night's party, tonight's party, it's all about this respect
00:54 for people who have been in it. Like, Smokey Robinson just walked by.
00:57 Like, you want to see people who have been in the industry for decades and sustained.
01:03 And there's that mutual respect going on.
01:05 And so I feel like I've landed in the right spot.
01:08 I'm getting a lot of love, and that's a lot.
01:10 You know, I haven't always got-- I've had a lot of cynics in my career, too.
01:13 We all have 'em.
01:14 Yes. So to be in a place where there is that love and respect
01:17 for the longevity feels really nice.
01:20 And I love that--
01:21 It's all happening along.
01:22 And by the way, with all of your longevity,
01:24 I love that you also always support other artists as well.
01:27 So when you're looking at this crop of nominees and stuff tomorrow,
01:30 who's been exciting you in the music industry?
01:32 I mean, listen, you know, when I look at Olivia Rodrigo and I look at Billie Eilish,
01:35 it's hard for me to not look at the young girls
01:38 because I was that young girl.
01:40 I was banging those doors down.
01:41 Nobody wanted to hear from a young girl.
01:43 Now they do.
01:45 And I just-- I love seeing these young, creative, female powerhouses
01:50 who are doing the triple threat of writing, producing, and performing their music.
