00:34 The 19-year-old Australian with Dogong Pinoy, Abigail Adriano.

00:39 I started loving musical theater since I was 6 years old.

00:43 I've always looked up to do theater and Miss Saigon is my first lead role doing Kim.

00:49 Last year, Abigail got the lead role for Miss Saigon's Australian production

00:54 that tells the story of a love story in the middle of the Vietnam War in 1975.

01:00 I did it!

01:02 She was lucky to be part of the cast in Manila.

01:07 I had no idea that Cameron Macintosh, the creator and producer of the show, was in the building.

01:14 And I sang for him. He just said to me, "You're the one." And then here I am, doing Kim now for Manila.

01:23 The Filipino Broadway superstar Lea Salonga, who first appeared as Kim in Miss Saigon, gave a message to Abigail.

01:31 One piece of advice I think that I can impart is just to enjoy every moment of the process of creating this character.

01:41 I couldn't even believe that I was receiving a message from her because she's the reason why Philippines is on the map.

01:48 Aside from Abigail, there are other Filipino actors who will play the roles of Engineer, Toy, and Gigi.
