Thousands of people celebrated the Federal Territories Day on Thursday with FT of Kuala Lumpur turning 50. It was also a hive of activities at Dataran Putrajaya with the FT of Putrajaya holding its open day from Feb 1-4. 00:07 The Persekutuan area has reached its 50th anniversary since the establishment of the Persekutuan area in Kuala Lumpur on 1 February 1974.

00:24 With the theme of "Biodiversity, Harmony People", the Government has made the achievements and significant progress

00:32 that have been achieved by the Persekutuan area over the past five decades as an inspiration to continue to increase

00:40 the development of the Persekutuan area for the coming decades.

00:45 In line with the value of biodiversity that is the backbone of the Government today,

00:51 the development in Kuala Lumpur, Labuan and Putrajaya also underpins the development of urban areas

00:58 and locations from the economic, social, social and cultural perspectives.

01:04 The progress that we have made in the Persekutuan area is not only measured by the number and height of the buildings alone,
