00:04 Today is Wednesday, the last day of January in 2024.

00:08 This is our latest satellite image.

00:11 We can see the clouds here in the Mindanao area and the southern part of Visayas.

00:17 This is because of the trough or extension of the low-pressure area outside of our Philippine area of responsibility.

00:24 And earlier at 4 in the afternoon, it was 130 kilometers south of General Santos City.

00:31 This low-pressure area will have a low chance of thunderstorms in the next 24 to 48 hours.

00:36 But because we can see that it is very close to the LPA in our power line,

00:42 we are not removing the possibility that it will enter our Philippine area of responsibility.

00:48 This trough or extension of the low-pressure area, we expect that it will bring rain in the Mindanao area,

00:56 in the central Visayas and southern Leyte.

00:59 We expect heavy to intense rains, possibly in the Caraga, Davao region and Sok Sargen.

01:06 That's why we are also warning our fellow countrymen about the risks of flooding and landslides,

01:12 especially in the middle and strong rains.

01:16 For the weather, mostly in the eastern section of Luzon and Visayas,

01:23 because in the north is monsoon, it is possible that there will be heavy rains here in the Kagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon, Bicol region and the eastern part of Visayas.

01:37 For the Metro Manila and the southern part of the country, partly cloudy to cloudy skies, there are chances of light rain.

01:46 For the weather tomorrow, we expect that for the area of Metro Manila and the southern part of Luzon,

01:56 partly cloudy to cloudy skies, we are still in a condition where there are chances of light rain.

02:02 The temperature in Metro Manila for tomorrow is 21 to 30 degrees Celsius.

02:08 In Baguio, it is 12 to 23 degrees Celsius.

02:11 In Tagaytay, it is 20 to 29 degrees Celsius.

02:15 For the area of Lawag, the temperature for tomorrow is 19 to 30 degrees Celsius,

02:21 20 to 29 degrees Celsius in Tuguegarao and 24 to 30 degrees Celsius in Legazpi.

02:28 For Puerto Princesa, it is 24 to 31 degrees Celsius and 25 to 31 degrees Celsius in Calayan Islands.

02:37 For the weather tomorrow in Visayas and Mindanao, we expect that the traffic extension of the low-pressure area will bring rains here in the Mindanao area,

02:49 as well as in the central Visayas and the southern Leyte.

02:53 Again, be careful of the chances of flooding and landslides if the rain is moderate to sometimes heavy,

03:00 or if there are intense rains.

03:03 For the southern part of Visayas, partly cloudy to cloudy skies condition,

03:09 here in the southern part of eastern Visayas, it is possible for localized thunderstorms,

03:15 and in the southern part of Visayas, it is possible for light rain.

03:21 The water temperature for Caguiende Oro and Tacloban will range from 24 to 29 degrees Celsius.

03:27 For Iloilo, it is 25 to 29 degrees Celsius, 25 to 30 degrees Celsius for Cebu.

03:35 For Davao, it is 24 to 27 degrees Celsius, and for Zamboanga, it is 24 to 31 degrees Celsius.

03:43 We also have a high-level gale warning here in the eastern seaboard of Catanduanes,

03:50 and also the eastern seaboard of Albay,

03:52 in the northern and eastern seaboard of Sorsogon,

03:55 in the northern coast, or eastern coast of Northern Samar,

03:59 in the eastern Samar, in the eastern coast of Surigao del Norte,

04:03 in Surigao del Sur, and in the eastern coast of Davao Oriental.

04:08 So if possible, those who will be sailing on the sea,

04:11 do not sail because of the low tide, or because it can be very high,

04:16 up to the very high sea level.

04:19 For the three-day weather outlook of our major cities in Baguio City,

04:24 from Friday to Sunday, partly cloudy to cloudy skies condition,

04:28 there are chances of light rain.

04:30 In Metro Manila, Friday, and in Legazpi City on Friday,

04:36 partly cloudy to cloudy skies condition, there are chances of light rain.

04:40 Then when Saturday and Sunday arrive for Metro Manila and Legazpi City,

04:44 there are chances of localized thunderstorms.

04:47 The temperature in Metro Manila will range from 22 to 31 degrees Celsius,

04:52 12 to 24 degrees Celsius in Baguio, and 24 to 31 degrees Celsius in Legazpi.

04:58 In Visayas area, we are expecting in Metro Cebu, Iloilo City, and Tacloban City,

05:05 in the next three days, and also in a large part of Visayas,

05:09 it is possible for partly cloudy to cloudy skies condition,

05:12 but there are chances of localized thunderstorms.

05:15 The temperature in Metro Cebu will range from 24 to 31 degrees Celsius,

05:20 in Iloilo City, it is 24 to 30 degrees Celsius,

05:24 24 to 31 degrees Celsius in Tacloban City.

05:28 For Mindanao area, in Metro Davao and Cagayan de Oro City,

05:33 it is possible for partly cloudy to cloudy skies condition,

05:37 but we are expecting localized thunderstorms.

05:40 The temperature in Metro Davao will range from 24 to 32 degrees Celsius,

05:45 24 to 31 degrees Celsius in Cagayan de Oro City.

05:49 When Friday arrives, the traffic extension of low-pressure area,

05:53 it is possible for it to bring rain in Zamboanga City only.

05:57 Then, it is also possible for it to rain here in Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi area.

06:03 Then, on Saturday and Sunday, it is partly cloudy to cloudy skies,

06:07 with chances of localized thunderstorms.

06:10 The temperature in Zamboanga City will range from 24 to 31 degrees Celsius.

06:16 In Calacang, Manila, the sun will set later at 5, 54 in the afternoon,
