00:00 Gaffer, where do I start after that 90 minutes?
00:06 Yeah, it was one of the strangest games I've been involved in. We started really, really
00:11 slow. Our warm-up was very good, probably the best our warm-up's been for a long, long
00:15 time. For some reason we started very, very slow. We managed to get ourselves back in
00:19 the game and then we scored three very, very quick goals. It was 5-2 at half-time, which
00:25 is fantastic. Fair play to South Park, they came out second half and probably the better
00:32 side second half. We managed to hang on in the end, but conceding four is difficult to
00:39 take but ultimately we came here to get three points and that's what we needed and that's
00:44 what we did. So overall, very pleased with the result.
00:49 Three weeks without a game, just how much do you think that affected maybe the start,
00:53 the slow start, albeit we came back into it or towards the last stage of the game? How
00:57 hard is it to prepare your team and get through the game after such a long lay-off?
01:02 Yeah, it's always difficult because obviously we were five games winning streak and we probably
01:08 lost a bit of momentum. We had a couple of friendlies against Farnborough and Guildford
01:11 City but they're not as intense as normal games. We gave the boys a little bit of rest
01:17 time over a couple of weekends as well because the games were called off. It was always a
01:21 worry coming into this one because South Park were a good side and they just tucked in behind
01:24 us but I think first half when we had the ball down, after going behind, I think we
01:30 played some real attractive football and scored some very, very good goals. So it's in now,
01:34 I'm hoping that's blown off the cobwebs.
