00:00 Hi, good afternoon. This is John Brown speaking from my establishment called The Bedford in
00:08 downtown Hopshaw. And this is just part of a bit of a farewell because we're just about to
00:15 leave at the beginning of March and so looking forward to maybe a chill-out time.
00:26 We're sad to go but it's come to the end of what some people have told me is a bit of an era.
00:31 Obviously along the way I've been helped by my daughter here. Hello, I'm Nicola.
00:36 And who's been my able assistant for a few years plus a lot of other things, PA and boss and
00:45 things, whatever. You name the whole gamut. Be nice dad, be nice. She's filled that role but
00:51 she's been a star. And obviously my wife etc have been in the background and obviously I always must
00:58 compliment the excellent staff I've had over the years. I can't thank them enough because they are
01:03 at the end of the day the shop window of the pub. They're the customers see first hand etc
01:10 how they're looked after. So we've got another month here so anyone who fancies dropping in for
01:17 a hello or a cheerio. We've got bands every week. We have Alter Ego, Louder Than Ten, No Pressure,
01:26 Stroke and Saviours of Soul. So every Saturday coming up we have something going on. We'd love
01:33 to see you to say cheerio and say thanks very much and what a 28 year period it's been. We
01:39 promise not to sing. We won't sing. There's no singing from us. I won't even get my mouth organ
01:45 out. I shall leave that. I think actually my daughter's hidden actually. I think I have.
01:51 So the customers ears are safe. So yeah we're covering the whole gamut of music etc. So yeah
01:57 if you've got a moment and come in and see us and yeah and it's good afternoon from me.
02:04 And it's good afternoon from me. Goodbye now. Bye.
