00:00 This next song was from an American musical called Kismet, which means fate.
00:07 In the show, it is the fate of the lovers to find themselves, strangers in paradise.

00:22 [Music]
00:51 Take my hand, I'm a stranger in paradise
00:57 All lost in a wonderland, a stranger in paradise
01:04 If I stand starry-eyed, there's a danger in paradise
01:12 For mortals who stand beside an angel like you
01:21 I saw your face ascending
01:26 Out of the calm of bliss, up into the red
01:33 Not somewhere out in space, I hang suspended
01:41 Until I'm settled up, there's a chance that you can
01:48 Won't you answer the fervent prayer of a stranger in paradise?
01:55 Don't stand me in dark despair from all that I hunger for
02:03 But open your angel's eyes to the stranger in paradise
02:10 And tell him that he need be a stranger no more
02:18 [Music]

02:47 Take my hand, I'm a stranger in paradise
02:53 All lost in a wonderland, a stranger in paradise
03:00 If I stand starry-eyed, there's a danger in paradise
03:08 For mortals who stand beside an angel like you
03:16 I saw your face ascending
03:22 Out of the calm of bliss, up into the red
03:29 Not somewhere out in space, I hang suspended
03:37 Until I'm settled up, there's a chance that you can
03:44 Won't you answer the fervent prayer of a stranger in paradise?
03:51 Don't stand me in dark despair from all that I hunger for
03:59 But open your angel's eyes to the stranger in paradise
04:06 And tell him that he need be a stranger no more
04:15 [Music]
04:26 A stranger no more
04:33 [Music]
04:38 I love to be challenged, I love to try new areas
04:42 I don't stick to fashion particularly, although I enjoy what's going on at the moment
04:47 and what everybody seems to be doing
04:49 But I think that since childhood I've had many ideas in my head
04:54 I've wanted to travel, I've wanted to learn about many, many things
04:57 to do with different cultures and art and everything that we're involved in
05:01 So if I've had an idea in my head, I've just gone towards it
05:06 Regardless if everybody says, "No, don't do that, that's not right"
05:09 or "It's too difficult", I've just gone there
05:11 Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't
05:14 I've always just had a passion for music
05:17 I think that's probably where it starts
05:20 I have a passion for art, just culture in general I have a passion for
05:28 And this really I think leads you forward, the word passion
05:33 or the feeling of passion for things
05:35 It's actually quite a frightening thing to do
05:38 to get up there on a stage in an arena or wherever you are
05:42 in front of thousands of people and perform for them
05:45 But the beauty is that you get so much back from an audience
05:50 You get a lot of expectation from them
05:55 You get applause from them
05:57 If you're not doing amazingly, you can also feel negative from them as well
06:01 So it is an amazing event
06:04 I feel very privileged that I do what I do
06:08 because it's about giving and receiving
