00:49 What does it feel like being in Baltimore,
00:51 and how's your experience been?
00:52 Oh, the experience so far has been great.
00:54 We just got here.
00:55 We're looking for a tailgate with some friends
00:57 from Pennsylvania coming down.
00:59 But every time the Rams play in Baltimore, I'm here.
01:02 So it's not the first time I've been here,
01:03 and I've never had a problem.
01:05 I love coming here.
01:06 The fans are great.
01:07 And I just hope my team does well today.
01:09 So how long have you been a Rams fan?
01:11 Since I was a young lad, so it's been a long time.
01:14 So who was your favorite player growing up?
01:16 Oh, growing up, probably Jim Youngblood, Jack Youngblood,
01:19 Freddie Dreyer.
01:20 I mean, we had a lot of good players when I was young.
01:23 Where are you from originally?
01:25 I'm from Pennsylvania, a little town
01:26 called Brooklyn, Pennsylvania.
01:28 So how did you end up being a Rams fan?
01:30 My brothers were a Cowboy fan, an Eagles fan.
01:35 So I wanted something different back then.
01:37 The Rams were a good team.
01:39 That was good players.
01:40 So that's how I became a Rams fan.
01:42 So now you're here tailgating early.
01:43 What does tailgating mean to your game day experience?
01:46 It's just coming out, having a lot of fun with friends,
01:48 and enjoying people, and the company.
01:50 Where are you from?
01:51 I'm from here.
01:52 My dad's a Rams fan, so--
01:53 I was about to say, you better not be a three-year-old Rams
01:57 fan.
01:58 Hey, Ravens are second, man.
02:00 Ravens are always in my heart, too.
02:02 So you're saying, that's OK.
02:03 That's cool.
02:03 They don't give a side.
02:04 Yeah, I got you.
02:05 All right, so what's it been like,
02:06 your little tailgating experience so far?
02:09 I love it here.
02:09 You know, I've been here three times.
02:11 I love it.
02:12 It's so fun here.
02:13 Even as a Rams fan, the Ravens fans are great here.
02:16 I have awesome times here.
02:18 I love watching the game.
02:19 It's just so exciting.
02:20 I love the NFL.
02:21 I love the Ravens.
02:22 I love the Rams.
02:23 But you know, Ravens are obviously a first, so yeah.
02:25 OK, so how did you end up becoming a Rams fan?
02:29 Honestly, my dad's a Rams fan.
02:31 He used to watch Jack Youngblood back in the day.
02:34 So I just followed my dad's teams.
02:36 And I do watch the Ravens still, but Rams fans
02:40 are always in my heart.
02:41 I love Cooper Cup.
02:41 I love Kukunukuwa.
02:43 Matt Stafford, I loved him in Detroit.
02:45 Now, you know, when I heard the news he's coming to the Rams,
02:48 I was amazed.
02:49 And you know, he obviously won us the Super Bowl.
02:51 So it was an awesome time.
02:52 So you mean to tell me you grew up in Baltimore.
02:57 The Rams have been awful for the majority of your lifetime.
03:00 And you cheer for the Rams.
03:02 We just won a Super Bowl two years ago.
03:04 So I'm telling you, Cooper Cup, he's
03:06 getting two touchdowns today, 100 receiving yards,
03:09 and Kukunukuwa.
03:11 I love it.

03:23 So you're going to be a Rams fan for the rest of your life.
03:26 All right, so who's your favorite player?
03:29 Matthew Stafford.
03:30 How did Matthew Stafford end up becoming your favorite player?
03:34 I've kind of always had respect for him.
03:36 And I just generally like him.
03:38 Like, he's a great player.
03:41 So what did it mean to-- this is really
03:42 a question for both of y'all.
03:44 What does it mean for y'all to kind of have that relationship
03:46 with your dad, coming to the games
03:48 to see your favorite team?
03:50 You want to go first?
03:51 Yeah, you got it.
03:52 It means a lot.
03:53 So it gives us a lot of opportunity to see the players
03:58 and see what it's really like being in the NFL and all that.
04:02 Yeah, I would say my dad.
04:04 When we're at home, we're watching the Rams games.
04:07 We're all feeling the emotions together.
04:09 Rams lose, we're all feeling sad.
04:10 Rams win, we're all feeling hype.
04:13 We're all out of our seats when a touchdown.
04:15 And it really connects the family.
04:18 The Rams really connects us all and makes us kind of bond more
04:20 together, since all the families in the living room
04:23 are watching the Rams games.
04:24 So yeah.
04:26 Y'all know I brought something special for the tailgate.
04:30 Got to come prepared.
04:32 Game day, on and off the field.
04:33 I'm here with John from Jimmy's Famous Seafood,
04:42 one of the best restaurants in the country.
04:45 You have to be at the tailgate.
04:46 We've been at all these different tailgates
04:48 with a lot of great families, a lot of good experiences.
04:51 But the tailgate go is a completely different experience
04:53 for anyone that steps out here.
04:54 John, talk to me about the tailgate.
04:57 It's one of a kind, man.
04:58 It's very special.
04:59 We've been doing it over 20 years.
05:01 Started with 20 people, and now we have 2,000.
05:05 So this is every single home game right here
05:08 across the street from the stadium.
05:09 What does it mean for you to bring people together?
05:11 It's everything, man.
05:12 Music and sports, food.
05:14 That's everything that everybody loves.
05:16 So it's a blessing.
05:19 So for you, it's a family affair.
05:21 You have your brother out.
05:23 You have your wife out.
05:24 Everyone's really a part of it.
05:25 What does it mean to you when you think about the tailgate
05:28 experience?
05:29 It's what we look forward to all year round, man.
05:34 There's nothing like it.
05:35 It's a huge part of our culture, and it's
05:38 something that we grew up on.
05:39 And we're going to pass it on to our kids,
05:41 and they're going to pass it on to their kids.
05:43 The tailgate is for everyone.
05:44 I see Baltimore fans.
05:45 I see Los Angeles fans.
05:47 What does it mean for you to create that kind of experience
05:49 right here at home?
05:50 It's very unique, you know?
05:51 But I don't think anybody else can pull it off but Baltimore.
05:56 Whenever I've traveled to other places,
05:59 you just never get the love that Baltimore shows you
06:01 when you're here.
