00:00 I can't really pin myself to one style.
00:02 It's gonna be like this, that, this, that, this, that.
00:05 Okay, what is style for me?
00:12 But I think style is like the thread between yourself and your expression.
00:19 That's what comes out.
00:22 It's like your style, you basically.
00:25 It is somehow your signature.
00:28 How has fashion affected my life?
00:31 Horribly.
00:33 Miserably, terribly.
00:35 But kidding aside, it's just, I was like worst dressed,
00:39 and now you're putting me on like best dressed.
00:42 And it's been like a great journey.
00:45 Like I'm unaware of this journey,
00:48 because it's not like I'm really taking it seriously.
00:51 It's just like a part of me that I guess somehow spreads,
00:55 and people see it, and like you guys, and say,
00:59 "Hey, you wanna be on our list?"
01:00 So it's been like a journey of growth and understanding,
01:03 from like not having any sort of like understanding before.
01:07 I just, you know, I just know, "Okay, I like this. I wanna wear this."
01:12 You know, I used to wear like big clock-looking watches,
01:15 and then I'm wearing like gentleman clothes, and sneakers,
01:18 and it doesn't make sense.
01:19 And once, you know, I was in LA,
01:22 and this girl by the pool, and I was walking in,
01:24 she was like, "You have a very interesting style."
01:25 And she couldn't understand like,
01:28 "Okay, what style that is?"
01:30 But she said that.
01:32 Yeah, like I said earlier, from like worst dressed to like best dressed.
01:36 So it's been very, very, very interesting.
01:38 It's something that I still kind of wanna run away from,
01:43 and not care about.
01:44 So thank you, David.
01:46 Thank you, Kim, for helping me out,
01:48 and being honest with me, and making fun of me,
01:51 and yeah, being my teachers and stuff.
01:53 I guess by saying,
01:55 I just want something that I can get behind,
01:58 if I feel comfortable wearing it,
02:00 and I don't look awkward walking, sitting,
02:03 or like what's happening now.
02:04 No, I'm just kidding.
02:05 I guess it's just like fun, easy, relaxed,
02:07 and it really depends on my mood,
02:10 and what kind of like season I'm in.
02:13 I'll be 100% keeping my suits,
02:18 and my clothes that make me look like I'm some guy from the 40s and 50s.
02:22 But I'd be wearing street with like wide leg,
02:25 you know, like pants, and boxy shirts,
02:28 and beach shorts, and sandals,
02:31 and I can't really like pin myself to like one style.
02:34 It's gonna be like this, that, this, that, this, that.
02:37 When I'm riding my motorcycle, it's gonna be this.
02:40 When I'm driving, it's gonna be like this.
02:42 So it really depends on my mood, yeah.
02:46 Because I would get a lot of like hand-me-downs,
02:49 and sponsored clothes,
02:50 and I would wear clothes I didn't buy,
02:53 and just because I couldn't afford them before,
02:56 and it was like free, and you have to wear them,
02:58 and you know, of course, I'm grateful for everyone who helped me out.
03:01 You know, I had one shoe in high school,
03:04 which I used for physical education in normal classes,
03:07 and I would paint the soles black with like Pentel pen.
03:10 We didn't have anything before,
03:12 so I would wear whatever.
03:14 Learning how to like put things together
03:16 means making mistakes, and looking funny,
03:19 and sometimes, you know, having embarrassing moments.
03:23 You know what I mean?
03:23 Like sometimes I look like a cartoon character,
03:27 or like a character from a movie,
03:28 or like just because that was my inspiration for my style that day,
03:32 because I'm really dependent on like, you know,
03:34 it really depends on my mood.
03:36 So that's what I mean by like "worst dress,"
03:38 meaning like, in other words, like a learner to a listener,
03:42 meaning someone who takes advice,
03:44 and then someone who's like,
03:46 "Okay, I know myself now, and I know what I like,
03:48 and I can work with other people now."
03:51 Um, honestly, like I said earlier, like movie characters,
03:55 and when I feel lost, I just watch "Friends,"
03:59 and I look at their clothes from like 1996 to like 1999,
04:04 and that's it.
04:06 Voila, you know, I'm wearing, you know, loose and easy clothing,
04:10 and I get a lot of inspiration and confidence from,
04:14 to be honest with you, like girls and women,
04:17 and I think they're so badass.
04:19 Like sometimes how confident they are when it comes to like tattoos,
04:24 and self-expression, and like "fuck it" kind of like attitude,
04:28 I love that, and I'm just like,
04:29 that's where I get inspiration from, like confidence-wise, you know.
04:33 And not a lot of like men look at like women for inspiration,
04:37 but when I see like women like wearing cool stuff,
04:40 and they're just like self-expression galore,
04:43 and I'm like, "Ah, this is so inspiring."
04:46 It doesn't have to mean, you know, it doesn't mean that I have,
04:48 I'm gonna copy that,
04:49 but if we're talking about inspiration,
04:52 I am receiving it as like confidence.
04:58 Thanks.
