00:00 A Malaysian national and a Filipino citizen were arrested for selling goods for scam.

00:08 This was the reason for the escape of a suspect in the robbery of a barangay in North Caloocan.

00:15 Witnesses are John Consulta and Marisol Abdurrahman.

00:23 The target of the search of a citizen is a suspect in the robbery of a barangay in North Caloocan.

00:30 According to the barangay, a concerned citizen tipped that someone was stealing in the church.

00:35 Allegedly, the person heard someone shouting and shivering.

00:39 So, what one of our witnesses said was, "Let's go to the KSAMEC."

00:43 When the barangay members arrived, the citizen was surrounded by the said thief.

00:49 The people surrounded the house. Wherever he went, he would be caught.

00:54 Before he was taken down, he was stripped of his clothes.

00:59 To make sure that nothing is tied up, that something might be stolen if there is.

01:04 The suspect was identified as Mark Hildel Rosario, 21 years old.

01:08 Why were you arrested by the people of the town?

01:11 I robbed a house.

01:13 Why?

01:14 Yes, I stole.

01:18 According to the police report, Hildel Rosario has a standing warrant of arrest for the complaint of robbery with homicide in Quezon City.

01:27 The suspects are still being searched.

01:30 The target of the Malaysian national, Chan Chin Hung, is not missing.

01:40 He was involved in the sale of text blast equipment and SIM cards registered in e-wallet.

01:46 His Filipino cousin was also arrested.

01:49 Aside from the equipment sold for scam, he was also involved in drug paraphernalia.

01:55 These are the people who were involved in the NBI's raid here in Manila.

02:00 This text blast equipment and SIM cards that were registered and validated in e-wallets.

02:08 But what the NBI discovered in this raid is that according to the suspect who was arrested,

02:16 he used his computer and they can bypass the security measures of e-wallet companies.

02:24 They can register e-wallets that even if it's not a real person who is registering it.

02:31 And when this is done, it can be used for scam.

02:35 According to the suspect, within the 6 years he was here in the country, he has become a customer.

02:42 We tried to get a statement from the arrested Filipino but he refused to give a statement.

03:01 We filed a violation of Republic Act 8484, Access Device Act in relation to Cyber Crime Prevention Act.

03:12 And then the violation of Republic Act 11934 in relation to Cyber Crime Prevention Act.

03:21 And the violation of Republic Act 9165 against him in relation to the Shabu paraphernalia that has traces of illegal drugs.
