00:00 I just pulled up outside the Pan shop, thought well I'll just pop in and out, which I did.
00:04 I wasn't in there more than 10 minutes, if that.
00:08 And when I got back to the car I saw something on the screen which said you may be in line
00:16 for a parking fine.
00:18 So I then drove home and on that particular day, well all throughout that time I was in
00:27 a terrible state because Becky was in hospital and with stage 4 breast cancer.
00:36 And they said from now on it's just palliative care.
00:41 I was in a terrible state anyway.
00:45 I drove away from there and in a bit of a daze and didn't realise that they sent me
00:52 the demand for £100 and the photograph that I was on double yellow lines.
01:00 Well you don't expect to see double yellow lines in a business park where there are umpteen
01:06 car parking spaces and everybody parks for all the, you know, when they go to any of
01:13 the businesses.
01:14 So that was totally unexpected.
01:17 I hadn't seen that.
01:19 Then on the 11th of November I got the demand for £100 and that was the day before Becky
01:28 passed away in hospital.
01:30 And in the state we'd been in, abject mourning really ever since it happened, I just couldn't
01:40 deal with it.
01:41 So I missed the date.
01:46 And then the last notice I got was they were intending to take me to court.
