00:00 So, one element that I couldn't take my eyes off of was the constant motion of the flames in the fire people.
00:07 Is there a tool or a technique of something that makes that happen or is it literally frame by frame the way that motion works?
00:14 Yeah, it's a lot of technology behind it. It's a little mix of both but it's mostly this technology that, or layers of technology that they merge together.
00:24 Now, what you're talking about was one of our big fears, just to be frank. When we first started this thing, all I did were little drawings of fire, which were these static things.
00:32 And everyone was like, "Boy, will we even be able to focus on the eyes?" And so, very soon it was just about learning to control the fire.
00:40 And so, the technology was about that control. And it was called NST, which I'm not a technical person, but it's called Neural Style Transfer, which is taking a style of a drawing.
00:50 Like, you could do like, "Oh, let me make a very graphic flame." It would take that and start imprinting it into the three dimensions of the flames.
00:58 Right, of the simulation.
00:59 Yeah.
