00:00 with the bloods. They started wearing red bandanas. They started using the number
00:04 five, including in five-point stars. They started using their own hand sign, again
00:11 that's a local thing, this triangle hand sign. They would get tattoos with the
00:16 gang's name, ROC or Rock Crew, things of that nature, and they would add in along
00:21 with that those five-point stars or the number five or adding in red accents to
00:25 their tattoos particularly. They would tag up the area in their community with
00:31 the gang's name and with some of these same identifiers we associate with the
00:35 bloods. And of course tagging that was meant to disrespect rival gangs, including
00:42 the Crips, which are of course the the sort of mortal enemy of the bloods. They
00:49 began wearing of course red bandanas, also custom clothing for the gang itself,
00:53 which incorporated both their local identifiers and those national
00:57 traditional identifiers, including some shirts that said "So what we blooded"
01:02 announcing that they were associated with the bloods. And they began taking on
01:07 other blood gang identifiers, including those for a particular blood gang called
01:11 Sex Money Murder.
