00:00 Ryan Reynolds is giving fans an update on Deadpool 3.
00:03 The star who plays the wisecracking anti-hero took to social media to announce that the movie is officially wrapped shooting.
00:09 The actor, who also co-wrote the film and is a producer, posted this photo on Instagram and wrote,
00:15 "The suit hides blood, also sweat, but today with Deadpool wrapping, it's mostly tears."
00:20 A giant and forever thanks to the cast and crew of our film who battled wind, rain, strikes, and Hugh Jackman,
00:27 all under the stalwart leadership of Sean Levy. He continued, "I got to make a movie with my closest pals,
00:32 and that doesn't happen very often. See ya July 26th."
00:36 Levy directed and co-wrote Deadpool 3, while Jackman co-stars as Wolverine,
00:40 the character he played in numerous X-Men films, 2013's The Wolverine and 2017's Logan.
00:46 Jackman also took to Instagram to celebrate wrapping the film. He shared this video
00:50 shaving off his Wolverine beard and wrote, "What a ride! I've loved every minute of making this movie."
00:55 Well, not the 4am training or the steamed fish and veg four times a day for six months,
01:00 but the other 93.2%. A collective thank you to the entire cast and crew. You are all aces.
01:06 If you're reading this and think I mean you, I do. He continued to two of my best mates,
01:10 Ryan Reynolds and Sean Levy, "I literally couldn't have done this without you. Literally.
01:15 July 26th can't come soon enough. Time to shave."
01:18 This news comes after the SAG-AFTRA strike shut down the film in mid-July.
01:22 It was one of the most noteworthy productions affected by the strike.
