Directed by Oxide Pang Chun (彭顺), Flash Over is a 2022 Chinese natural disaster movie, tells the story of a group of firefighters fighting for the lives of others and themselves amidst a large-scale disaster. Based on TRUE EVENTS that actually happened in China, the movie stars Du Jiang (杜江), Wang Qianyuan (王千源), Tong Liya (佟丽娅), Han Xue (韩雪) and many other talented casts.
The story starts with rescue teams responding to a major disaster due to an earthquake. A sudden earthquake has hit the entire Guancheng County Chemical Industrial Park to trigger pipeline leaks and explosions. Thick smoke billows amidst blazing fire as disaster rapidly escalates. If it is not contained, the entire city will soon be razed to the ground. Faced with the severe test of saving people as well as fighting the fire, all members of the fire and rescue station are mobilized immediately, rushing to the hardest-hit areas in a race against time.
