00:02 This year marks the 80th anniversary of the murder of Polish underground activists.

00:11 As you can see, they were murdered in the Żabików camp.

00:15 In a moment we will be celebrating the second anniversary,

00:20 in fact, the 79th anniversary of the liberation of Roszyn.

00:25 These are important dates for us, the inhabitants of the city, the commune, the poviat,

00:31 because they show the contribution of the inhabitants of this region,

00:36 the fight for freedom, the fight against the invaders.

00:40 We hope that for young people, it will be a live history lesson,

00:46 that the memory remains and we can in this way honor the heroes of the Second World War.

00:53 Today there was a flower arrangement by the delegation of the territorial self-government units,

00:58 through schools and organizations, in a place commemorating the three heroes

01:05 who died on the first day of the liberation of Krotoszyn.

01:09 Actually, on the second day in the morning, because here it says "24th of January".

01:14 I think that for the offices, but mainly for all the citizens,

01:19 commemorating places like this one, where we stand today in front of the Cermedik,

01:29 and all these heroic deeds, as well as the local heroes, is very important

01:36 and we should never forget about them.
