Northampton warrant uncovers 45 wraps of Class A drugs

00:00 The neighbourhood teams today collectively went down to Springboroughs and we've executed two

00:05 simultaneous drug warrants, so that's section 23, the Misuse of Drugs Act. One male occupant

00:11 has been arrested on possession with intent to supply class A drugs and 45 individual wraps

00:19 of class A drugs suspected to be crack cocaine and heroin, burner-type phones,

00:26 also cash has been seized as well, so a really really fantastic result. We've had some information

00:31 that's been supplied to us from residents in St Catherine's Court, they've got some concerns about

00:38 an address that's been, drug dealing has been going on, it's believed to be a county line that's

00:43 operating from that address as well, so we've also further identified another address which we also

00:50 obtained a warrant for. It just goes to show that you know we take information really really seriously

00:56 in that, if you want to call Crime Stoppers, if you want to report it anonymously on 101,

01:00 give us the information, however small you might think it is in that, let us make the judgment call.

01:05 It could develop into something that we've done today now where we've had a fantastic result

01:09 and we've taken drugs off the streets in the day and we've locked somebody up as well and

01:13 you know hopefully try and get that person before the court.
