R&B star T-Pain is having fun at Soulja Boy’s expense in a social media “First” challenge.

After Soulja Boy went on a series of rants claiming to be the first at creating a number of trends in music, hip-hop hook master T-Pain entered the chat.

The versatile artist and podcaster joked about being a trail blazer as a singer-slash-rapper, then he playfully took credit for the careers of Chris Brown, Trey Songz and Ne-Yo.

If it wasn’t already clear who he was mocking, T-Pain called himself “Flake-o” in those posts, a play on Soula Boy’s “Drake-o” nickname.

Soulja Boy has claimed recently that he was the first rapper to post videos on YouTube, the first rapper to have a customized G-Shock watch, and he now promises to be the first rapper to travel to outer space.

Later this month, the self-proclaimed pioneer will be in the VERZUZ spotlight when he goes against Bow Wow in a hit-for-hit battle of former child stars.
