00:00 [SPEAKING JAPANESE]
00:08 Matahiro Noda, the third man in the ring tonight.
00:11 Christina Poncher and Sunisa Estrada with you on the call.
00:15 Edeon Arena in Osaka, Japan.
00:19 The opening bout on our four-fight broadcast
00:22 championship doubleheader.
00:27 Tatsu Yoshi in the gold trunks with white trim.
00:33 Yonaha in the cheetah print trunks.
00:36 All that fringe, Sunisa.
00:38 Yeah, he's very flashy.
00:39 He's got a flashy style as well.
00:42 And with a fighter like Yonaha, he's kind of all over the place,
00:47 like I said, with his structure.
00:50 And in order to beat a fighter like that,
00:53 it takes sharpness and timing, which I think Tatsu Yoshi
00:58 is going to bring tonight.
01:00 Tatsu Yoshi lands a nice left hand there.
01:02 As Yonaha tries to establish his jab.
01:15 And a nice counter left hand connects there for Tatsu Yoshi.
01:21 And an uppercut gets in for Yonaha.
01:23 Actually heating up quick here in the first minute
01:26 of round one.
01:26 This one's scheduled for eight in the bantamweight division.
01:31 Tatsu Yoshi has got to stay patient with a fighter
01:33 like Yonaha.
01:35 He's got to stay patient and time him on the way
01:38 in with those counter left hooks and other punches.
01:40 A lot of looping shots for Tatsu Yoshi to start.
01:49 Nice body shot.
01:51 Left hand connects to the body.
01:52 We mentioned in the open that Tatsu Yoshi
02:00 is the son of Joichiro Tatsu Yoshi, who
02:05 is the former two-time WBC bantamweight world champion.
02:09 Son now fighting in the same weight class.
02:11 And although he started boxing at a very young age,
02:15 his father kind of never told him whether to box or not
02:17 to box or to be a professional.
02:18 Let his son decide what he wanted to do.
02:20 And although he didn't have much of an amateur career,
02:22 always was in the gym, always around other fighters.
02:25 And his dad did say that from a very young age,
02:28 he did carry a lot of power in his punches.
02:31 And in his 14 professional wins, he
02:33 does have 10 of those by way of knockout.
02:38 As Yonaha goes down to the body with the right hand.
02:42 You can definitely see the strength and power
02:44 in Tatsu Yoshi.
02:45 [INAUDIBLE]
02:50 Down to the body with the right hand,
02:51 then finishing back up top.
02:52 Timing Yonaha.
02:57 [INAUDIBLE]
03:04 Another combination there lands for Tatsu Yoshi.
03:08 Just pawing with that jab is Yonaha.
03:11 He's got to keep Yonaha on the outside.
03:13 Yonaha's going to continue to come forward with his hands
03:16 down like he does and kind of run in with wild punches.
03:19 [BELL RINGING]
03:20 [APPLAUSE]
03:23 Kate made progress with her mental health,
03:29 but her medication caused unintentional movements
03:31 in her face, hands, and feet called tardive dyskinesia,
03:34 or TD.
03:35 So her doctor prescribed Osteto XR, a once daily TD
03:39 treatment for adults.
03:40 [MUSIC - KATE BOWEN, "AS YOU GO WITH THE SPIN"]
03:42 Osteto XR significantly reduced Kate's TD movements.
03:46 Some people saw a response as early as two weeks.
03:49 With Osteto XR, Kate can stay on her mental health meds.
03:52 Oh, hi, buddy.
03:53 Osteto XR can cause depression, suicidal thoughts, or actions
03:56 in patients with Huntington's disease.
03:58 Pay close attention to and call your doctor
04:00 if you become depressed, have sudden changes in mood,
04:02 or have suicidal thoughts.
04:03 Don't take if you have liver problems,
04:05 are taking reserpine, tetrabenazine, or valbenazine.
04:08 Osteto XR may cause a regular or fast heartbeat
04:10 or abnormal movements.
04:11 Seek help for fever, stiff muscles, problems
04:13 thinking, or sweating.
04:14 Common side effects include inflammation--
04:16 [INAUDIBLE]
04:17 Round two.
04:19 Round two of the scheduled eight rounder.
04:20 And I think Tatsuyoshi did a good job
04:22 of throwing his punches in combinations
04:25 there to start in round one.
04:27 Let's see how Yonaha can respond here in round two.
04:31 Yeah, I like how Tatsuyoshi wasn't
04:33 throwing every punch hard.
04:34 He was touching them, like you said, touching them,
04:37 and then landing those big hard shots like that
04:40 once he lets off a couple of touch punches.
04:43 And that's what he has to do to slow down a fighter like Yonaha
04:49 because Yonaha is just going to keep coming.
04:51 Those little touch punches, touching with the jab like that
05:00 will get Yonaha to think and to have to be defensive.
05:04 And that's where Tatsuyoshi can counter him on the way in.
05:08 And Yonaha landed a good body shot there in that exchange.
05:10 Strong jab there from Tatsuyoshi down to the body.
05:28 Good combination there for Yonaha
05:30 when he got Tatsuyoshi back against the ropes.
05:33 [INTERPOSING VOICES]
05:42 Yonaha's one of those awkward fighters
05:44 that could be challenging to fight if your timing isn't
05:49 on point.
05:49 Little better round here for Yonaha.
06:00 [INTERPOSING VOICES]
06:11 Trying to figure out the distance
06:12 and how to close that distance against Tatsuyoshi, who
06:15 is using that jab pretty effectively,
06:17 even as a defensive weapon, Sonesa,
06:20 just to keep Yonaha thinking.
06:23 Yeah, he's using a great jab.
06:24 And that's what he has to do.
06:26 He has to keep Yonaha thinking because Yonaha
06:28 is the type of fighter that reacts to everything.
06:30 He has very good reflexes.
06:32 So he's going to move his upper body.
06:34 And he's going to throw punches from weird angles.
06:37 So making him think is what you have to do to slow him down.
06:41 Nice work there by Tatsuyoshi down to the body,
06:43 then back up top.
06:44 There are those hooks that you're talking about.
06:46 That right hand has connected time and time again
06:48 over the left of Yonaha.
06:50 [INTERPOSING VOICES]
07:07 Both fighters are tapping a little bit with their shots,
07:09 aren't they, Sonesa?
07:11 Not really forcefully turning their gloves over,
07:13 kind of a little bit of an open hand when they hit.
07:17 Yeah, they are.
07:17 But I think that's a good thing for Tatsuyoshi
07:19 because, I mean, not every punch should be hard because they're
07:24 going to give your opponent--
07:27 they're going to feel your power punch.
07:29 And you want to surprise them with those power shots.
07:30 So you want to touch them, touch them,
07:32 and then land those power shots, whether it's
07:33 to the body or to the head.
07:35 And right here, we see him touching downstairs
07:37 to the body and an overhand right up top.
07:41 And then followed by another right hand.
07:47 Opening up with the jab and then landing the right hook
07:50 has been a punch that has landed throughout the first two
07:53 rounds for Tatsuyoshi.
07:55 Yonaha hasn't made that adjustment picking up
08:01 that left hand as Joichiro Tatsuyoshi looks on.
08:06 Tatsuyoshi's father also reminds me of Mike Tyson.
08:09 He--
08:09 [LAUGHTER]
08:10 He looks-- I don't know if I was the only one.
08:12 If anyone's at home thinking that his father looks
08:14 like Mike Tyson, you're not the only one.
08:17 Round three.
08:18 Round three starts off with a couple of jabs from Tatsuyoshi.
08:29 And Yonaha looks to answer back with the right hand.
08:32 Back to the jab for Yonaha.
08:35 And more hooks and combinations from Tatsuyoshi
08:37 down to the body with the right hand from Yonaha.
08:39 Yeah, I love those touching punches, those touching jabs,
08:42 and those little touching shots in the inside to the head
08:44 and to the body.
08:45 Those can be really frustrating because it's
08:47 forcing Yonaha to use his defense and to--
08:50 he kind of can't get away from it.
08:52 Down to the body, both sides from Yonaha
09:01 looking to shoot that uppercut with the right hand.
09:03 Just misses there.
09:04 Yonaha does have that sneaky uppercut.
09:10 If he could just time it correctly,
09:11 he can catch Tatsuyoshi leaning in.
09:14 He's missed it just a few times.
09:16 Yeah, he does have a lot of sneaky punches.
09:18 There's the uppercut with the right hand.
09:20 Yep.
09:21 Go ahead, Sinisa.
09:22 I'm sorry.
09:22 Yeah, he does throw a lot of sneaky punches
09:24 because he just-- he reacts when you think
09:27 he's not going to react.
09:28 And that's what's really sneaky about him.
09:32 It makes his style very awkward and his movement very awkward.
09:34 [INAUDIBLE]
09:37 [INAUDIBLE]
09:40 [INAUDIBLE]
09:43 [INAUDIBLE]
09:45 Oh, that is a nice counter left hand there landed by Tatsuyoshi.
09:49 [INAUDIBLE]
09:52 [INAUDIBLE]
09:53 [INAUDIBLE]
09:57 Beautiful counter hooks and an answer back
09:59 with the jab from Yonaha.
10:00 But one answer, one shot back is not
10:03 going to get it done because Tatsuyoshi is constantly
10:06 throwing punches in bunches and combinations.
10:09 [INAUDIBLE]
10:12 [INAUDIBLE]
10:15 [INAUDIBLE]
10:18 [INAUDIBLE]
10:21 [INAUDIBLE]
10:24 I like to see Tatsuyoshi use some feints against a fighter
10:27 like Yonaha because Yonaha is going to keep coming forward.
10:29 And it's always good to use those feints and maybe
10:32 roll with punches and come back with a counter.
10:35 But definitely feints because he's
10:37 kind of just staying stationary against Yonaha.
10:40 [INAUDIBLE]
10:43 [INAUDIBLE]
10:46 [INAUDIBLE]
10:49 He's scoring with those jabs.
10:51 That's about three jabs in a row by Yonaha
10:53 right there that are scoring shots.
10:54 Yeah, he's landing some good jabs,
10:56 snapping Tatsuyoshi's head back.
11:00 A tricky shot with the left a little up jab
11:03 from Tatsuyoshi there with that lead left hand.
11:05 [INAUDIBLE]
11:09 [INAUDIBLE]
11:11 [INAUDIBLE]
11:14 [INAUDIBLE]
11:17 [INAUDIBLE]
11:19 [BELL RINGING]
11:21 [APPLAUSE]
11:25 Tear into it, a new adventure, a new discovery.
11:31 It's all out there.
11:34 They just need the crunch of Nature Valley to get after it.
11:37 Life happens out there.
11:40 [MUSIC PLAYING]
11:44 In the wilderness, fearless, inhuman,
12:07 and savage, Alexa Dior.
12:10 For Yonaha, especially when he used the jab.
12:13 [SPEAKING JAPANESE]
12:16 Yeah, I think the jab is a punch that can separate either one
12:20 of them in this fight.
12:21 [BELL RINGING]
12:23 They're both using it well, but in different ways.
12:26 [BELL RINGING]
12:28 [SPEAKING JAPANESE]
12:31 Once again, the combination punching there from Tatsuyoshi,
12:35 but not many of those shots getting through.
12:37 But that last straight left, and there's
12:40 a right hook for Tatsuyoshi.
12:42 And a body shot there from Yonaha with the left hand.
12:49 Those body shots got to wear on you after some time.
12:52 Oh, yeah, they do, definitely.
12:55 And a good tactic to try to slow down the combination punching
13:01 of Tatsuyoshi, do you agree?
13:03 I agree, yes.
13:03 He's going to the body can definitely
13:06 stop Tatsuyoshi from throwing those combinations
13:09 and throwing those touching punches.
13:10 It's going to make him drop his hands even lower.
13:12 [SPEAKING JAPANESE]
13:15 There's a body shot with the left hand.
13:22 And back to that stiff jab.
13:28 [SPEAKING JAPANESE]
13:31 Yonaha has definitely made some adjustments
13:36 and is able to find his distance a little bit better,
13:41 landing shots that he didn't land in the first two rounds,
13:43 in the last round, round three, and now here in round four.
13:48 He is definitely not just putting the pressure,
13:50 but he's throwing the right punches, which
13:52 are those body shots.
13:53 And he just missed that uppercut again.
13:56 So I think he wants to land that uppercut.
13:59 And he just missed the right uppercut.
14:01 So he's desperately trying to land that shot.
14:05 Down to the body, working both sides of the body
14:13 well here in round four.
14:14 There he goes down with the left hand,
14:16 then shoots it back up to here.
14:17 Just misses with the right cross.
14:20 And I think this is the best that I've seen of Yonaha.
14:23 Usually, his structure is a little all over the place,
14:27 and his footwork is.
14:28 He kind of squares up and runs in with punches.
14:31 But I think knowing that he's fighting such a good fighter
14:35 in Tatsuyoshi, he knew he had to come into this fight
14:38 and make some improvements.
14:39 And I see that in this fight.
14:43 Yeah, the two fighters so far, he's
14:45 the one that has made more of the adjustments,
14:47 and rightfully so, because he probably the first round or two
14:51 went Tatsuyoshi's way.
14:52 Yes, Tatsuyoshi lands a good combination that snaps the head
14:55 back now of Yonaha.
14:58 Beautiful combinations.
15:01 And Yonaha not moving out of the way,
15:03 looking to want to stand there and try to trade with Tatsuyoshi.
15:07 Blood coming now from the nose of Yonaha.
15:10 Countering with an uppercut, which
15:12 could be very dangerous, countering with an uppercut
15:14 from the outside.
15:16 Hooks landing tough from Tatsuyoshi
15:19 here at the end of round four.
15:21 Trying to steal the round there at the end.
15:23 He made some good adjustments, but I
15:25 think Tatsuyoshi stole that last seconds of the round.
15:29 He landed some beautiful combinations.
15:31 Here we see those combinations, three punches in a row,
15:40 right hand, and followed by a left hook.
15:43 And he's still touching with punches there,
15:45 still staying active, making Yonaha think and move.
15:49 I mean, if you're Yonaha, why are you just
15:56 standing right there in that regard trying to trade with him?
16:00 Especially when your jab was so effective in the last round,
16:02 got to get back on your stick or hold and move around
16:05 the outside, no?
16:06 Yeah, I agree.
16:06 I think he was doing very well, and he was kind of just
16:12 using his upper body movement and digging to the body
16:15 at the right times.
16:16 I think it's just the upper part of his face.
16:22 So now I'm going to think about Mike Tyson every time they--
16:27 They show his father sitting there ringside.
16:30 I wonder what--
16:31 Definitely the eyes.
16:31 I wonder what advice his dad would be telling him right now
16:35 as he ventures into the second half of this scheduled eight
16:39 rounder.
16:43 And again, Tatsuyoshi only fought one time in 2023
16:47 as he lands a nice right hand there.
16:49 Got a fifth round TKO.
16:51 He hadn't fought since 2020 before that.
16:54 He's trying to get some rounds in.
16:55 I mean, this equals the farthest distance he's
16:57 gone in the last three years--
16:59 Wow.
17:00 --inside the ring.
17:01 So maybe taking him a little bit of time
17:02 to find his rhythm here as Yonaha--
17:06 it looks like he's made the adjustment
17:08 to want to stand in the pocket and slug it out with Tatsuyoshi.
17:11 Perhaps not really fearing his power.
17:14 Yeah, it looks like he doesn't fear his power.
17:17 But that could cost him the fight,
17:21 because he's not fighting smart.
17:23 He's kind of just--
17:24 he's showing his pride and his heart.
17:28 He's taking over what he really should be doing.
17:31 The game plan of what he should be following.
17:33 As a jab of Tatsuyoshi, he snaps the head back of Yonaha.
17:39 Down to the body for Yonaha.
17:43 There's the uppercut.
17:46 Good combination there from Tatsuyoshi.
17:49 When Yonaha has Tatsuyoshi backed up against the ropes
18:00 is when he does the best work.
18:02 Yonaha hasn't really learned how to fight too well going
18:06 backwards.
18:07 No, he can't fight going backwards.
18:09 He's the best and most effective when he's coming forward.
18:13 Has a nice left hand to the body.
18:14 That lands for Tatsuyoshi.
18:15 Down to the body, but then Tatsuyoshi catches him
18:29 with the counter right hand.
18:32 Left hook scores and he's back to the jab.
18:34 Tatsuyoshi has to dictate the movement against a fighter
18:43 like Yonaha.
18:44 He's not dictating the movement.
18:46 He's kind of just walking backwards
18:50 and walking to the body.
18:51 He's not doing the movement.
18:52 He's just kind of walking to the body.
18:53 And he's not doing the movement.
18:55 He's just kind of walking to the body.
18:56 He's kind of just walking backwards
19:00 and walking to the side and letting Yonaha just
19:03 walk right in.
19:04 Yonaha going back to those wild punches, Aseni,
19:11 so that he was doing in the first two rounds, which
19:14 did not suit him very well.
19:16 Yeah, and that's why you have to move side
19:18 to side against a fighter like Yonaha,
19:20 because he throws wide, sometimes
19:22 unexpected wild punches.
19:24 So you want to get on the sides of him to catch him
19:27 on the sides.
19:28 That's where you'll be effective and you'll hurt him.
19:31 Blood coming from the nose of both fighters.
19:34 Let me take a look at some replays from the last rounds.
19:37 PGA Tour Live, every tournament starts on ESPN+.
19:41 NHL All-Star Weekend on ESPN, ABC, and ESPN+.
19:45 [MUSIC PLAYING]
19:49 Home goods, go finding.
20:02 Hockey stars will shine brightest in Toronto.
20:04 [MUSIC PLAYING]
20:09 The 2024 NHL All-Star Weekend, February 2nd and 3rd
20:13 on ESPN, ABC, and ESPN+.
20:17 Stay tight on the inside and catch Tatsuyoshi's punches
20:22 and then counter with it.
20:23 It'll be more effective.
20:26 But he's trying to throw it from the outside,
20:28 and kind of like a bolo in a way.
20:32 And that could be dangerous, because he can
20:34 get countered by a left hook.
20:38 Here's a good jab to start round six from Yonaha.
20:41 A couple of jabs there, blood right back to streaming
20:45 down the nose of Tatsuyoshi.
20:47 As he lunges forward with that wide hook.
21:00 And there's some hooks that split the guard there
21:02 for Tatsuyoshi.
21:03 Good start here to round six.
21:05 Oh, nice right hand.
21:09 That landed clean for Yonaha.
21:11 They're set up off the double jab.
21:12 And then once again, right back to the stick.
21:14 Yeah, he throws those unexpected hard punches
21:16 that could be dangerous.
21:17 Left hand scores there for Yonaha.
21:37 It's a tricky shot.
21:38 [INAUDIBLE]
21:43 Good job getting his head off the line,
21:44 just missing that right hand from Tatsuyoshi.
21:46 It's like Yonaha fights really well in spurts, right?
21:57 But he hasn't been able to put it together full.
21:59 Sometimes when he fights off the jab, double jab, right hand,
22:02 he connects.
22:03 Then he gets back to throwing those looping hooks
22:05 or getting off balance.
22:06 And then he goes right back to getting caught by Tatsuyoshi.
22:10 Yeah, he fights leading with his head.
22:11 And that's what I noticed in his previous fights.
22:14 You know what I mean about not having structure.
22:17 His upper body and his punches are kind of all over the place.
22:19 And he walks forward with his head right in the middle.
22:24 As he gets tapped by a jab there from Tatsuyoshi.
22:29 Sab jab to the body from Yonaha.
22:32 Right hand scores for Tats-- oh.
22:34 He wanted to throw that right hand so bad right there,
22:37 didn't he?
22:37 Nice combination.
22:42 For Tatsuyoshi lands as Yonaha tries to land that left uppercut
22:49 once again.
22:49 Right hand scores.
22:56 And a clash of heads.
22:58 And now Tatsuyoshi's legs, his feet
23:00 just seem to be getting slower in his leg movement.
23:03 So that's why Yonaha is able to catch him
23:06 with those straight right hands.
23:08 Good combination there to end the round.
23:18 And he does end these rounds strong, does Tatsuyoshi.
23:20 [BELL RINGING]
23:22 [APPLAUSE]
23:25 Here we see--
23:38 Jab and a right hand from Tatsuyoshi.
23:47 [INAUDIBLE]
23:50 And that right hand over the top from Yonaha.
23:57 And like I said, Tatsuyoshi's legs seem to be slower.
24:02 He's not moving like he should be.
24:04 He should be moving a little quicker and moving around Yonaha
24:08 so he doesn't get caught with those straight right hands.
24:10 But because he's stationary, he's
24:12 able to get hit clean with Yonaha's straight right hands.
24:16 And as we enter round seven, Tatsuyoshi
24:26 hasn't seen a round seven until--
24:30 excuse me, hasn't seen a round seven since 2019.
24:35 Definitely getting some rounds in,
24:36 which is important for a fighter, not only that did not
24:39 have a big amateur career or any amateur career at all,
24:41 but that's only fought five rounds in the last three years.
24:46 Yeah, getting rounds in is definitely important.
24:48 So right now, we don't know how he feels.
24:50 Maybe he feels that ring rust, and his legs and over body
24:53 are feeling it.
24:54 Which is kind of what you were saying earlier
24:55 about how he's gotten a little more flat footed
24:58 as the fight's gone on.
25:00 Yes, he's leaving himself open for those straight right hands
25:03 because his legs just seem to be just more planted on the mat.
25:09 He tries to hook around with the right hand
25:10 to the body of Yonaha.
25:12 Nice two piece combination there for Tatsuyoshi Lance.
25:19 Good double left hook by Tatsuyoshi.
25:22 Just out of the way of that left hook of Yonaha.
25:25 Yeah, Yonaha could be a dangerous fighter
25:31 if you're not in shape, and you're not
25:34 well prepared with your timing and your sharpness.
25:37 [INAUDIBLE]
25:47 Yonaha at this point is throwing everything
25:49 with bad intentions.
25:50 Perhaps a sense of urgency from his corner.
25:52 Obviously, there's a language disparity.
25:53 We're not sure what his corner told him.
25:55 But maybe like you need to pick some things up,
25:57 or you need to try to knock him out at this point.
26:01 Because he's back to throwing everything hard.
26:07 Yeah, he definitely needs a knockout.
26:08 So I think that's what he is trying to do.
26:11 Double jab, right hand to the body, then back to the body
26:14 goes Tatsuyoshi.
26:15 Oh, look at the body shot.
26:16 Nice counter left hand.
26:27 That was good timing by Tatsuyoshi there.
26:30 [INAUDIBLE]
26:38 You notice how Tatsuyoshi, when he throws those touch punches,
26:42 Yonaha doesn't do anything but keep his hands high and kind
26:47 of catch him and cover him up.
26:48 [INAUDIBLE]
26:59 And even though some of those touch punches
27:01 are deflecting off the gloves of Yonaha,
27:04 not necessarily scoring punches, they're
27:05 keeping Yonaha from throwing his shots.
27:08 Right.
27:08 They're keeping him-- they're stopping him from punching.
27:11 He's just keeping his hands high and blocking like that.
27:14 And even though we--
27:16 I mean, they have eight ounce gloves on with no headgear.
27:19 So even if you're just tapping your opponent's gloves,
27:22 the gloves are still hitting their face.
27:23 So he's still feeling it.
27:26 And it also helps to check that judging.
27:29 Looks like you won something there.
27:31 Yeah, I ditched my tax guy and switched to H&R Block.
27:34 I feel like a tax champion.
27:35 It's that easy.
27:36 So much more convenient.
27:38 I just walked in, met with an expert,
27:40 or a pro can do your taxes online.
27:42 And with that upfront, transparent pricing,
27:44 I knew the price before I even began.
27:46 I've never won anything in my whole life.
27:49 You should make the switch.
27:51 There's still time, Todd.
27:53 Have an H&R Block Tax Pro do your taxes in person or online.
27:57 It's better with Block.
27:59 The 3 For Meat only at Chili's serves up more deliciousness
28:02 for just $10.99 than you'll find anywhere else.
28:05 I mean, have y'all seen those fast food prices lately?
28:08 It's like even they want you to come to Chili's.
28:10 This Chili's 3 For Meat is the best $10.99 you can eat.
28:14 Our WBA Flyweight Championship, the first of two championship
28:17 fights on the night.
28:19 Artem Delakian taking on Sego Yuriyakouy.
28:25 That is coming up next, the first of two World
28:28 Championship fights.
28:28 That one for the WBA Flyweight World Championship.
28:32 Nice counter there from Tatsuyoshi
28:41 to start round 8 as he misses with those hooks.
28:45 Down to the body with the left hand for Yonaha.
28:49 Right hand scores for Yonaha.
28:50 Good combination of top and the finishing
28:56 downstairs with the body with the left hand from Tatsuyoshi.
29:00 Yeah, that's what I would have liked to see Tatsuyoshi do more
29:03 of from the beginning to the end,
29:04 is touch with those punches and throw a hard left hook
29:08 to the body or a hard right hook to the body to end it.
29:11 Looking with the left hand around the guard.
29:16 Under two minutes left to go in the fight now.
29:27 Tripling up the jab, tripling up the hook
29:30 is what Tatsuyoshi needs to continue to keep doing.
29:34 Because when he does that, like I said in the previous round,
29:37 Yonaha knows nothing to do but to keep his hands high
29:41 and just block those punches.
29:42 Tatsuyoshi doing a lot of work here with that lead left jab
29:58 hand as he-- there he goes.
29:59 Pitter-patters then finishes with some great punches
30:02 there in that exchange.
30:03 He changed pace, almost like a change up pitch.
30:05 We started off slow and then came with the power shots,
30:07 exactly what you were looking for, Sunisa.
30:09 - Yeah, I love that.
30:10 That looked beautiful and it landed perfectly.
30:12 So that's something that--
30:16 - Little flashes like that get you excited about a fight,
30:18 right?
30:19 - Exactly, little flashes like that.
30:21 And with an opponent like Yonaha,
30:23 that's exactly what you have to do.
30:26 And then it opens up those big shots just like that.
30:30 - Really nice way to close the fight here
30:33 for Tatsuyoshi, who's having a very dominant round here
30:38 in round eight.
30:39 Back to the stick.
30:46 30 seconds left to go now.
30:53 Down to the body with the right hand from Yonaha
30:56 and a counter shot connects.
30:58 - Nice.
30:58 Try that uppercut one more time.
31:05 - Why not?
31:05 - Why not?
31:08 - Just pawing with that jab.
31:10 10 seconds left in the fight.
31:13 Yonaha to the body with the left counter right hand
31:16 from Tatsuyoshi.
31:22 Great finish for Juki Tatsuyoshi.
31:26 - Yeah, great ending for Tatsuyoshi.
31:34 I love those combinations.
31:35 I love all those touch punches.
31:36 - So quiet there after a fight, isn't it?
31:47 - Yeah.
31:49 Wait, is that the quietness from the studio or the arena?
31:52 - That's in the arena.
31:53 - Oh, wow.
31:54 - Going to let the judges tally up the scores.
32:00 But most important, I think, obviously,
32:03 would be getting the win if you're Tatsuyoshi,
32:06 but also the fact that he got the rounds in.
32:09 2020, he fought three rounds.
32:12 2023, he fought five rounds.
32:14 Eight rounds in the last three years.
32:16 Eight rounds tonight.
32:18 That's important.

32:56 - Getting the win tonight is Joki Tatsuyoshi.
33:01 Your winner by way of unanimous decision,
33:03 now improving his record to 15-0-1 with 10 KOs.
33:09 A lot to take away--
