Mac computers could ride AI wave or be left behind

Apple is reportedly working on custom chips for AI Macs, aiming to capitalize on the growing trend of on-device AI processing, similar to its approach with smartphones. Despite seeming behind in the AI race, Apple is expected to leverage its design prowess to integrate AI capabilities, already present in its products like cameras and Siri.
