There have been a lot of films about iconic Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, best known for her brilliant and colorful self-portraits. But director and editor Carla Gutierrez crafts a fresh, intimately raw, and magical journey through her life, mind, and heart for the first time through her very own words drawn from her diary, revealing letters, essays, and print interviews. Reaching new visual heights, the film uses lyrical animation inspired by her life and unforgettable artwork. The film will be available on March 15 on Amazon Prime.
