‘Congress TV’ set to be launched on PTV next week

00:56 According to House Deputy Majority Leader for Communications Erwin Tulfo,

01:00 this groundbreaking initiative is important to bring the House of Representatives closer to Filipinos

01:06 and encourage active public participation in crafting our nation's laws.

01:11 Basically, this is the coverage of PTV that will be aired on one channel of PTV.

01:19 All of Congress' activities, especially in hearings, in our everyday activities,

01:26 including committee hearings in the morning and sessions,

01:30 it's like a kinopia in the US, C-Span, when there's a hearing, discussion,

01:38 not only in the US, but also in Korea, where senators and congressmen are even knocking.

02:26 they are very happy to launch Congress TV as one of the network's first major projects this year,

02:32 on the occasion of PTV's 50th anniversary as a broadcast institution.

02:38 Congress TV will air daily from 9am to 9pm starting January 23, 2024,

02:45 on PTV digital channel 14 Manila and online via PTV's digital platforms.
