Supercop 2 is directed by Stanley Tong Tong Kwai-lai (唐季禮). Martial-arts heroine Michelle Yeoh Choo Kheng (楊紫瓊) displays her fistic virtuosity in this 1993 Hong Kong-produced action yarn. It is a spin-off of Jackie Chan (成龍)'s Police Story film series involving the character Michelle portrayed in Supercop.
Chinese policewoman Jessica Yang (Michelle) learns a disturbing secret about her ex-boyfriend, who has drifted into a lucrative life of crime. Action icon Jackie, who starred with Michelle in the original "Supercop," has a small role in the sequel.
Supercop 2 also stars Rongguang Yu (于荣光), Athene Chu Yan (朱茵), Dick Wei (狄威) and Bowie Lam Bo-yee (林保怡).
