Anna Pruska spoke to Euronews Business about AI’s increasing role in telecommunication services and why Poland is the place to be for women leaders.

00:00 You are one of few female CEOs in Poland leading such a huge company. What does that feel like. And what are the challenges. Do
00:20 you feel like being a woman leader in the company or do you think we've moved past that sort of the gender gap now.
00:28 So first of all it's a lot of hard work definitely. But I'm very lucky because I come from Poland and I work in Poland for
00:36 Polish company in Poland as one of the country a few countries in Europe with a high participation of women in management
00:43 positions. According to a 2020 Eurostat statistic about 44 percent of management positions were occupied by women in Poland.
00:53 That was the second place in Europe. And one of the things that much does is provides I.T. services to different sectors
01:00 including in banking and finance. Is a I being integrated into your service offerings. Could you tell us a little bit about
01:08 that. It's such a key theme here in Davos. Yes definitely. So I is part of our loyalty management solution where it helps to
01:17 detect fraud in the behavior of loyalty program participants. It is part of our assurance product for the telecom industry.
01:27 So the solution is embedded in that product and it helps to to monitor networks for telecom providers optimize the network
01:40 monitoring and performance. And I know one of the themes here as well that they're talking about with regards to a I is the
01:48 challenges that it presents. Are there any particular challenges that you feel you might have to work through when you're
01:55 introducing a I into your services. You know I think that historically people have been anxious as regards to new
02:03 technologies throughout history. There's many examples like during the technical the technical revolution. People used to
02:11 destroy machines. The people who are employed in the textile manufacturing industry because they were afraid that it will
02:18 take jobs away from them. So I think there's always this anxiety in people when it comes to new technologies new
02:25 achievements. And you know I think it's just a matter of getting familiar with it and solving the problems that we have like
02:33 legal issues. But it will come with time and then people will as they become more familiar with this technology. These problems
02:40 will fade away. And Anna it is interesting because the A.I. is one of the pillars here at Davos. But the global economy as a
02:49 whole and the the conflicts and the different things that the challenges that companies face the impact these things have on
02:56 companies is obviously being widely discussed here in Davos. So how much what's the main like economic concerns challenges
03:05 that you see is you know in the market in Poland as well heading into 2024. I think a big challenge is the political stability
03:14 of a country as well as regional stability. I mean if you look at Poland where we are geopolitically located. So this is one
03:24 of the challenges we have been developing strongly for the past 30 years and commerce has benefited from this development as
03:32 a company. And we would like this development to continue in a stable political environment and economic environment. And Anna
03:42 you are pushing ahead. The company is pushing ahead. You know you're you're growing on a global scale. But what are the
03:49 markets that you're particularly interested in at the moment as you go into 2024. So we're definitely targeting Asia
03:57 North America. These are like main focus markets for the next couple of years.
