00:00 Thousands of opposition supporters in Belgrade renewed their call for last year's local and
00:07 general elections to be overturned.
00:10 The populist ruling Serbian Progressive Party claimed victory back in December, but opposition
00:15 leaders accused the SNS of benefiting from media bias, the improper influence of President
00:21 Aleksandar Vucic and vote-buying.
00:23 This is the first protest after the break after Christmas and New Year holidays, and
00:30 today citizens were addressed by the People's Ambassador Marinika Tepic in front of the
00:36 list of Serbia against violence, which I recall struck Gladja 13 days.
00:42 These protests are organized because, as organizers say, election theft and election
00:49 irregularities and seek to destroy the elections at all levels.
00:54 The opposition coalition is also seeking international support, saying if they lose this fight, there
01:00 will never be another election.
01:02 What brought me back to my feet, in front of all of you, is what I mentioned, that it
01:11 was worth it. Yesterday we received great news from the world, from Europe, from our
01:20 families, European families, and that is that tomorrow, however, the discussion in the European
01:26 Parliament about the stolen elections in Serbia will begin.
01:31 President Vucic has dismissed the criticism as lies promoted by the political opposition
01:36 and accuses protest organizers of attempting to destabilize the state.
