00:00 Joined by Sprint Car star James McFadden. James, classic week, how are you feeling ahead of the big weekend?
00:08 Yeah excited mate, it's the best week of the year for me and my team. It's the thing we strive to do each year.
00:16 It gets race all around the world at some of the biggest races but this is up there with my favourite.
00:22 It's the race I grew up wanting to be a part of and dreamt about winning and just excited to get going and ready to rip for sure.
00:31 How do you like your chances? Is it the belief among the team?
00:34 Yeah absolutely, we've got everything we need to do the job. You need your ducks to fall in a line and everything go right on the night.
00:42 I think our car speed has been really good, we haven't really got to showcase it with any great results this year but we've been there abouts every night.
00:51 Happy with the way the car is going, happy with everything that's happening with the Nappa Auto Parts D5 and excited to get ripping to the best time of the year.
01:00 Racing well, we just had a little out of the way.
01:03 Yeah, hopefully we've got that out of the way. I think we've been basically in the top three every night outside of having things go wrong and contact with other cars and some mechanical stuff.
01:17 We've worked really hard here the last couple of weeks to get everything dialled and changed a few things around to get me a little more comfortable and ready for the job that's at hand.
01:28 And enjoying being back here at home, very nice setup you've got here.
01:32 Yeah, enjoying home. It's always good to get back, hang out with family and then get to do some racing in between.
01:40 Obviously for this week it's all eyes on the prize and not much time at home for the next few days but excited for Monday to have a bit of a rest.
